Netflix will soon close the book on popular teen series 13 Reasons Why, with the show announcing the premiere date for its last season.

The series will drop its fourth and final season on June 5, which is only five weeks away. Along with sharing the premiere date, the show also posted a video featuring the cast wrapping up their final reading for the season, and it is EMOTIONAL.

The controversial series, which debuted in 2017, has gone through quite the evolution throughout its last three seasons. Initially, a show about mental health and suicide, the most recent season shifted to become more of a murder mystery vibe, with the students of Liberty High being accused of various crimes.

The last season saw the introduction of a new controversial character, Ani, as she attempted to investigate the murder of Bryce, a character found dead at the end of season two. The third season concluded with the death of another main character, so it’s likely the final season will be picking up the pieces from there.

The final season of 13 Reasons Why premieres June 5 on Netflix.
