Aussies Have Voted For Their Fave Shapes Flavour & Sorry, You’re All Wrong
Nothing will divide a group of people like the topic of which Arnott’s Shapes flavour is the best and we now have an actual study on our hands where Aussies have voted for their most-loved variety.
Prepare yourself because the survey found that the most beloved Arnott’s Shapes flavour is…
Barbecue! Pizza came in as a close second, with Chicken Crimpy placing third.
Ugh.
Here are the findings:
“A YouGov/Galaxy poll commissioned by Arnott’s revealed Barbecue (15%) took the flag as Australia’s favourite Shapes flavour, narrowly edging Pizza (14%) for top honours. Chicken Crimpy (12%) scraped into third position, with Cheddar (9%) scraping in for fourth.”
The survey also found that different states in Australia had very different opinions on their fave Shapes. For example, people living in Queensland and New South Wales were more likely to say Chicken Crimpy was their favourite flavour, while South Australian and Victorian locals were more predisposed to choosing Barbecue.
And I’m a little shook to report that Western Australians were more likely than others to choose Cheddar. The absolute horror.
Punkee has previously ranked Arnott’s Shapes, choosing Pizza as number one with Chicken Crimpy a close second, and Barbecue at third. The only way I can accept this baffling decision is to think that the people responding to this new survey were fondly remembering how good Barbecue shapes used to be and ignoring the indisputable fact that the new recipe sucks.
