If the promos blaring ‘I’m Still Standing’ weren’t enough to get you hyped for the next season of Australian Survivor, we’ve got the full list of contestants to whet your appetite.

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been slowly spoon-fed the names of the contestants competing in Australian Survivor: Champions Vs. Contenders, but finally we know exactly who will be duking it out for the title of Sole Survivor.

Among the ex-footy players and Olympic medallists from the Champions side, the Contenders includes an ice cream maker and a police officer pretending to be a hairdresser. This season already looks sensational.

Meet all the Australian Survivor contestants!

CHAMPIONS:

Luke Toki, 32, Survivor Alumni

The self-appointed ‘King of the Jungle’ returns. Australian Survivor season two fave Luke Toki is back and ready to annoy the shit out of his fellow champs. “I’m gonna play hard and take the piss out of people,” he said. “I really believe I have the tools to win. I am willing to die out here to win.”

Abbey Holmes, 28, AFLW Premiership Winner

As one of the biggest stars in Women’s AFL, Abbey had a huge season with the Adelaide Crows and would go on to become the first woman to kick 100 goals in a season as a star forward and midfielder. We stan this AFL queen.

Steven Bradbury, 45, Olympic gold medallist

This man needs no introduction. He gifted us the phrase ‘Doing a Bradbury’ and we pray he can fluke his way to the top on Australian Survivor, like he did at the 2002 Winter Olympics.

David Genat, 39, International Model

Get ready to thirst over this handsome contestant. David is one of the world’s top male models and was encouraged to apply by season two player and fellow model, Sarah Tilleke. He’s appeared in Vogue and Vanity Fair and has been the face of Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and Mont Blanc.

Anastasia Woolmer, 42, Memory Champion

As a memory athlete and two-time Australian Memory Champion, Anastasia is armed with the knowledge to slay all the puzzles and mind-bending challenges the game will serve up. She has also performed as a ballerina all around the world, so is going to be a huge threat both physically and mentally.

Nova Peris, 48, Olympic gold medallist

As an athlete and senator, Nova is ready to not only dominate in the challenges but also strategise with the best of them. Between winning the Gold Medal in women’s hockey team at the 1996 Summer Olympics, being named Young Australian of the Year and receiving a medal for the Order of Australia, there isn’t much she cannot do. She’s a massive threat.

Andrew Ettingshausen, 53, NRL legend

Known fondly by fans as ET, Andrew is renowned as one of the best NRL players of all time. He also has his own fishing show called Escape With ET so you’d assume he will be a huge asset to his team when hunting for fish.

Pia Miranda, 46, actress

I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited about an Australia Survivor contestant and the Looking For Alibrandi star seems up for the challenge.”I have been watching Survivor since the first season in 2000 and I’ve been sitting on the couch for almost 20 years saying I could win, so I guess now is my chance!” said Pia.

Susie Maroney, 44, marathon swimmer

Susie is a long-distance swimmer most famous for her record-breaking swim from Mexico to Cuba in 1999. We reckon she’ll nail the challenges, especially those that require a lot of stamina.

Janine Allis, 53, CEO powerhouse

Janine is the founder of Boost Juice and an entrepreneur and CEO. She also regularly appears on Shark Tank so comes armed with a wealth of experience in strategising and taking charge.

Ross Clarke-Jones, 53, big wave surfer

Known to most as Mad Dog, big wave surfer Ross became the first Australian surfer to win the Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau in 2001. Ross is one to watch for sure.

CONTENDERS:

Andy Meldrum, 47, Marketing Executive

Andy is an advertising and marketing executive, professional poker player, as well as a superfan of the show. He has aspirations to not just win Australian Survivor but wants to become the most memorable villain Survivor has ever seen.

Baden Gilbert, 23, Student

Baden is studying his PhD in physics and thinks his greatest strength is his ability to bond with people. While he expects his fellow contestants will misjudge his physical strength, he’s actually a former surf lifesaver, so he could be a secret threat.

Casey Hawkins, 30, Educator

For the past two years, Casey has been travelling around to remote communities across Australia and teaching kids about creative writing. She sees Survivor as the ultimate challenge and describes herself as “creative, courageous, stubborn, spontaneous and a dreamer.”

Hannah Pentreath, 27, Police Officer

Hannah is hoping to play the role of the “dumb blonde” but plans to outwit them all. She said she is going into her tribe pretending to be a hairdresser, when in fact she is a police officer and is physically ready to face any of the challenges head-on. I already stan Hannah.

Harry Hills, 29, Ice Cream Maker

Harry has dreamt of taking out the title of Sole Survivor for over 15 years. As a kid, he and his friends would make up their own version of Survivor, so he’s literally been practising for this most of his life. Harry said he is planning to undermine his opponents and play a loveable villain.

Laura Choong, 31, Digital Marketing Executive

At four foot nine inches, Laura describes herself as “a Chihuahua that thinks she’s a Rottweiler.” She says she’s often underestimated but is here to prove everyone wrong and become Sole Survivor.

John Eastoe, 28, gold miner

Coming above ground, this underground gold miner from Western Australia hopes he has what it takes to survive and thrive. While he reckons he has the determination to make it all the way, he admits he’s not a superfan of the show. Blasphemy!

Sam Schoers, 30, VIP Gaming Manager

Sam is a VIP Gaming Manager at one of the country’s biggest casinos. She’s also a former flight attendant so knows how to socialise and keep people on side. Sam also came second in The Amazing Race in 2011 so has the reality TV game show format down to a fine art.

Shaun Hampson, 31, retired AFL player

Some might know him simply as Mr. Megan Gale, as he and the Aussie supermodel are engaged and have two kids together. Shaun played for both Carlton and Richmond Football Clubs, before injuries forced him into early retirement. He is now back with a vengeance and not messing around.

Daisy Richardson, 24, travel agent

Daisy says that her years at boarding school have taught her how to adapt to new people and environments. “Boarding school massively shaped who I am as a person and gave me resilience at a really young age,” she said.

Matty Farrelly, 29, high school teacher/pro wrestler

Matty lives a bit of a double life. He is a school teacher by day and pro-wrestler by night, and says he has two “very strong” sides to his personality. He hopes to use the people skills from teaching to make his fellow tribe members feel more comfortable.

Sarah Ayles, 45, cleaner

Sarah might be the most equipped contestant on this series, as a real-life survivor of the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami. Sarah jumped off a balcony and was dragged 800 metres before she was eventually was grabbed and pulled onto a roof. The mum-of-two is the ultimate boss and one to watch.

Australian Survivor kicks off July 24 at 7:30pm on Network Ten.
