Bachy’s Renee Barrett Has Recaptioned A Bunch Of Her Pics With Matt, So Grab The Popcorn
Look, breakups can be difficult, but if there’s anyone who knows how to handle it in the public eye, it’s Renee Barrett from Bachelor In Paradise fame.
While Bachelor In Paradise is meant to be a place to find true love, unfortunately, that has not happened for Renee. Even though Renee Barrett and Matt Whyatt made it to the very end of Bachelor In Paradise and exchanged the L-bomb in a beautiful heartfelt ceremony, it all ended pretty quickly after the show wrapped up filming.
Well, it would appear that Renee hadn’t quite gotten the closure she was after, as the Bachy icon has gone through old photos of the two of them and edited the captions. Let’s take a deep stroll through memory lane, shall we?
Firstly: The Warning

The first image we’ve seen change in caption is this lovely interaction between the two reality icons. They may be in deep conversation, but apparently, hindsight bodes well for Renee Barrett, as she re-edited the caption of the photo to say: “It was at this point, I should have run for the hills.”
Second: The Fuckboi

In perhaps my personal favourite of the re-captioned photos, this edit simply says “Fuckboi #2.” Presumably, because Ciarran takes the place of fuckboi #1. Way to get two digs with one stone Renee!
Third: What Was I Thinking?

Usually when people break up, photos of kissing or any kind of affection get deleted from Instagram. Nope, not in this situation. Here, Renee has dubbed a photo of their embrace is “What was I thinking?” I actually can’t stop laughing at this. It’s too good.
Fourth: It’s Over

Ah, photos from the finale! What a wonderful and only positive time… jokes. The new ending note that Renee Barrett will leave you on is: “Unfortunately this fuckboi and I are no longer together.” Classic.
Renee also said, “I wanted so badly for this to be my forever and I’m sorry if I’ve disappointed you all, I know you were rooting for me to find love. I’m so glad I’ve finally learnt how I deserve to be treated and the outpouring of love and support from Australia means the world. Let’s hope I’ve had my heartbroken for the last time and I can find love again.”
Now, Matt Whyatt has repeatedly denied cheating on Renee, but with all this Instagram tea, who knows what to believe?
