Our hearts are broken. We will never love again. Brittney has spread her wings and flown away from Fiji. Yep, on tonight’s episode of Bachelor In Paradise our bird of paradise was set free.

From the very first time she conga-lined into our hearts on last year’s The Bachelor, we knew she was something special. But it was on this year’s BIP that viewers fell hard for the quirky scene-stealing character.

While we hoped her and Ivan would last the distance, it didn’t take long for the dancer to move on to other women, first trying his luck with Zoe, and then going on a date with Tenille on tonight’s ep.

We chatted with Brittney to find out all the tea about Ivan and life beyond BIP.

Brittney’s thoughts on Ivan:

After tonight’s savage rose ceremony, it seems there is no love lost between the two. “The most upsetting thing was that he didn’t tell me. He told me absolutely nothing,” she said, adding she only just heard from him recently.

“So he rang me last week which is after more than six months to, you know, try and smooth me over so he would look better,” she said.

“He never actually apologised and then he calls me six months later saying ‘oh you know, I’m sure you’re over it by now’.”

Could we see her as The Bachelorette?

Good news is that Brittney would readily take the title of Bachelorette – following Angie Kent’s reign, we assume.

“Of course I would consider it! That would mean I’d have 20 other options so I’d hopefully come out with at least one,” she joked.

“It would be pretty crazy! I don’t even know if the guys could handle it. I’ve done two rounds and haven’t had any success. Third time’s a charm!”

When we asked her where she got all her energy from, she hit us with: “I was just born this way! I just love life!”
