Men, It’s Official: Writing A Witty Bio Will Up Your Chances Of Being Swiped Right
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, dating app Bumble has released some stats about the online dating world that may even help you score a dinner date before the big day arrives.
Bumble now has 2 million Aussies registered on the app, so really, it can’t be that hard to find someone who will swipe you back these days. Right? Right????????
Here’s what Bumble has uncovered from its research report:
1. Men, it’s time to smile! 9/10 women would swipe right for a big ol’ flash of those pearly whites
Hot tip: If it’s annoying to you that someone’s just demanded for you to smile, congrats for surviving so long without that kind of advice and welcome to being a woman!
2. 77% of women are more likely to swipe right and engage with someone who puts effort into their profile
Hot tip: Three blurry group photos does not make a match.
3. And yes this means a bio! 84% of women admitted to being less likely to match with someone who leaves their profile description blank
Hot tip: It’s great you’re 6’1, truly, but do you have… any hobbies?
And in truly unsurprising news, the most active time for Bumble was stated to be over the weekend.
Or if you’re like me, during the ad breaks of Married At First Sight.
So get cracking out the funnies on your profile people, and stress less about your height — who knows, maybe you’ll find the love of your life just in time for V-day.
OK, well at least, maybe you’ll find a dinner date.
