In August 2013, many Australians lost the love of their lives.

Dr Patrick Reid, a handsome soon-to-be-father, partner of Nina Proudman on hit show Offspring, was tragically hit by a car and died in hospital, with a heavily pregnant Nina by his side. It was a moment so cruel, so genuinely sad, that years later many Aussies still mourn the death of Patrick, played by Matt Le Nevez.

As it turns out, Matt Le Nevez himself is still alive and will be gracing Celebrity MasterChef: yep, that’s right, the man can act, is devilishly handsome, and can also cook and I’m now spontaneously ovulating by simply watching the promo.
