  1. Cyprus – Minus One, ‘Alter Ego’

Catchy song but no real build; too stagnated on the same level.

  1. Israel – Hovi Star, ‘Made of Stars’

Beautiful voice, it’s a good song but not really bringing anything new to the table.

  1. Lithuania – Donny Montell, ‘I‘ve been waiting for this night’

Sounds like an X-Factor single but will be a popular one.

  1. Denmark – Lighthouse X, ‘ Soldiers Of Love’

Love a boy band, and these guys are damn fit. They will be a popular pick but the song is a bit of fluff and nonsense.

  1. Estonia – Jüri Pootsmann, ‘Play’

Amazing voice, very George Ezra and crowds will love him but the song is a dud.

  1. Azerbaijan – Samra, ‘Miracle’

A surprise from Azerbaijan, this is a good song, it’s a bit ‘Can’t fight the moonlight’ but lacks wow-factor. But Samra is fucking gorg!

  1. France – Amir, ‘J’ai cherché’

Beautiful song with a important message, but this will likely get lost in translation.

  1. Netherlands – Douwe Bob, ‘Slow Down’

Acoustic number with a country twang, Bob is great and it’s a good song but maybe too relaxed for the Eurovision stage.

  1. Hungary – Freddie, ‘Pioneer’

Great and different kind of voice and could go off on stage.

  1. Germany – Jamie-Lee, ‘Ghost’

Mixed message in this video, Alice in Wonderland meets Harajuku girl, but Jamie-Lee has a beautiful voice that will stand apart from the others.
