Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: Meet The New Farmers And Their Wifely Wants
Kris Jenner works hard, but the casting crew at Farmer Wants A Wife works harder.
Each year they serve up eligible bachelors from all corners (and a lot of the centre) of Australia, and the 2025 class of farmers is looking rather dashing – you know, in that chewing on a bit of straw kinda way.
If you’re keen to quit city life and cosy up with a country boy, I explain how you can apply at the bottom of the article, but before that, meet the dudes!
Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: Farmer Jack
Farmer Jack is a 26-year-old cattle farmer from Oberon, NSW, who loves his mum and is looking forward to meeting someone loyal to a fault. Here’s what he has to say about himself:
- I’m president of the Oberon Rodeo Association. There’s nothing I love more than riding bulls, there’s nothing on earth like that adrenaline!
- I was in the army for 4 years; I joined when I was 18 so I’ve travelled a fair bit.
- I’m never late because of being in the army!
- I also love camp drafting and am a member of the local camp draft association.
- My mum encouraged me to apply for this, because she thinks it would be good for me.
- I come across as a bit of a cowboy but I’m softer than most people think I am, you just have to get to know me. I don’t let everyone see that side, only the special people.
Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: Farmer Jarrad
Farmer Jarrad is a 21-year-old sheep farmer from Stanthorpe, QLD, who loves his country music and is looking forward to meeting someone “boisterous” like him. Here’s what he has to say about what makes him unique:
- My sense humour… the best way to describe it would be shock-value humour. Even I surprise myself sometimes!
- I’m creative and love making music.
- I love American sport – baseball, ice hockey, football. I used to play different sports growing up, so I love watching the games and would love to start playing again someday.
- I’m good at cooking, my specialty is anything to do with meat.
- I love movies and everything to do with theatre.
Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: Farmer Thomas
Farmer Thomas is a 35-year-old wheat, barley and lentil farmer from Kimba, SA, who loves his Carly Rae Jepsen bops and is looking forward to meeting someone adventurous like him. Here’s what he has to say about what makes him special:
- My honesty. Sometimes people say I’m too honest, but it’s always in a kind and considerate way.
- I’m a genuine person with a generous nature.
- I volunteer for the community as a local fire fighter.
- I don’t judge people on face value. I’m a fair person and give everyone a go.
Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: Farmer Reidy
Farmer Reidy is a 29-year-old banana and avocado farmer from Mereeba, QLD, who’s actually called Jack but there are simply too many farmer Jacks. Here’s what he has to say about what makes him unique:
- I’ve travelled to 29 countries, and it’s opened my eyes to what’s really important in life, and how lucky we really are here.
- My parents are first generation farmers, so I’ve lived through what it takes to get there, and I’m looking forward to continuing their legacy.
- On top of my full day at the farm, I still find time for self care with exercise. I love running, and am hoping to do a half-marathon some time soon.
- I think my energy is unique to me, because I’ll always push through tough times, and try not to let anything get me too down.
- I have a unique ability to problem solve under pressure, and I thrive under pressure.
Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: Farmer Corey
Farmer Corey is a 24-year-old bean, hay and cotton farmer from Bioela, QLD, who is looking for a good communicator to match his old soul style. Here’s what he has to say about what makes him special:
- I have a toothy grin, I’m smiling all the time…
- If you asked me to choose between cats and dogs, I couldn’t, I love them both! We have dogs and a cat.
- I love beach driving; Fraser Island is one of my favourite places to visit.
- My grandad was one of the first farmers to grow cotton in our area.
- I’m built for feed not speed, haha, I’m a sucker for a home-cooked meal! But in all seriousness, I wear my heart on my sleeve. I don’t think that’s something people often see in country blokes.
Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: Farmer Tom
Farmer Tom is a 31-year-old sheep farmer from Borambola, NSW, who is looking for a fellow Swiftie to sing-a-long in the car with. Here’s what he has to say about what makes him interesting:
- Passionate about my interests
- Open minded
- Willing to give anything a go
- Spontaneous and a bit whacky
- Kindness to all animals
Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: Farmer Jack L
Oh, look, another Jack! Farmer Jack L is a 26-year-old dairy farmer from Raiton, TAS, who is looking for a “girl next door”. Here’s what he has to say about what makes him a pretty cool lad:
- I’m pretty creative. I’m a woodworker and I’m a bit of a home mechanic, I love restoring vintage cars. Also love to play guitar.
- I don’t mind getting my hands dirty, I’m pretty keen to have a go at most things.
- My family are viticulturists turned dairy farmers, that’s fairly unusual! My whole family has stuck with farming, no one has gone off and had other careers.
- I have a real love for animals, it makes me love what I do even more. My main concern is looking after the herd and making sure they’re all content.
- Some people call me ‘Steady Eddy’ because I’ve always stuck by my guns, and I’ve been consistent in who I am since I was young.
Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: Farmer Chooka
Farmer Chooka is a 25-year-old cattle, sheep and crop farmer from Goornong, VIC, who is looking for a lady who wants to raise his pet emu with him. Here’s what he has to say about what makes him a top chook:
- My nickname is Chooka, everyone calls me that apart from my Mum. It’s a nickname from a dare I did when I was ten years old, and it’s stuck with me.
- I’ve never been in a relationship before. I’ve been searching but just haven’t met ‘the one’ yet.
- I’ve never been in love, so when I find the right girl, it will be exciting to share a romance with her and experience true love.
- I have a pet emu on my property. 30 years ago, Dad was given 2 emus’, Erk and Ernie. Erk ran away and Ernie stayed so we continued feeding him. Ernie can leave anytime he wants but he’s happy hanging out with us, roaming the farm.
- I made the local newspaper when my friends and I came across an old man who had crashed his scooter. We helped him up and took him home, it was a good Samaritan moment in my life.
