Well, it’s official: After being engaged for around two years, Georgia Love and Lee Elliott finally tied the knot in Tasmania over the weekend.

To refresh your memory, Georgia was The Bachelorette way back in 2016 on the second season of the Australian series. On the show, her soon-to-be husband stole her heart, taking the top spot in the show with Matty J coming in as runner-up. And we’re happy to report that five years later, their marriage has finally happened.

Georgia and Lee were initially meant to get married in Italy, but of course, when the COVID pandemic hit, they had to make alternate plans. But, my gosh, did their alternate plans look amazing.

The Tassie Wedding
Georgia Love and Lee Elliott threw their wedding ceremony at Frogmore Creek Winery on Friday. Notably, Georgia had lived and worked for a few years in Tassie before she took on reality TV.

Even though they didn’t get to have their dream wedding in Italy, they still went above and beyond with the details — white and blush pink roses, a live band, an outdoor dance floor, and red double-decker busses transporting the guests between venues.

In terms of attendees, the guest-list included Australian Idol alumni Rob Mills and Cameron Cranley (who was on the same Bachelorette season as the bride and groom).

Georgia and Lee got engaged in 2019 while out on a boat on the Hawkesbury River in Sydney, which was the exact location where the two had their first date on the Bachelorette in 2016. I’m not crying you are.
