Mick Kershaw, husband of late Gogglebox Australia star Di Kershaw, has spoken out about the death of his wife and her final days.
A few days ago, devastating news was confirmed that Di had passed away last Friday, leaving behind Mick, their two kids, and a grandson. Di was known for her sharp wit and iconic quotable moments on the hit show Gogglebox.

The cause of Di’s death was revealed to be stomach cancer, which Mick told the Daily Mail was inoperable. “The only alternative to that was chemo or radiation, but she was far too weak to be put through that,” he said. “She would have hated to sit around here for six months being incapacitated. So she made the decision to end it earlier rather than later.”
Mick went on to speak about Di, reflecting on her kind nature and sassy attitude. “She didn’t have a nasty bone in her body. She was very caring. She was a very strong person. She had a great sense of humour,” he told the Daily Mail.

Hugs to her family especially Mick. I will miss her on the show. She has a quirky sense of humour I will miss most.
A sad loss.

Mick and Di had been married for more than 50 years and worked together as art dealers, according to their bio on Foxtel. Mick reflected on his career alongside Di, revealing that he didn’t become an art dealer until Di convinced him to drop his job and work with her.
“We worked together not from day one but for quite a long time… I think we lasted that long because we had common interests. We liked food, we liked art. We understood each other’s sense of humour,” he said. “I don’t think you hang in there for that length of time with a person unless you’ve got a lot in common.”
