Harry Styles Literally Stopped Traffic Today With A Guerrilla Street Concert

Handsome young man Harry Styles has reportedly stopped traffic in Los Angeles today, as he filmed a fun, impromptu street concert, which included performing his new single ‘Watermelon Sugar’ for The Late Late Show with James Corden. With those cheekbones, amirite?

Thanks to the wonders of the internet, we can watch all the weird fan-shot footage of the stunt well before it goes to air! The best part: the exasperated drivers honking.

Look at him dangle here:

They let him down! I am so relieved:

Imagine getting stuck on a zip line when you’re just trying to sing your big hit, ‘Sign of the Times’:

There is something extremely funny about cloud Corden trying to help Harry off a zipline. Who imagined this timeline? We are so blessed:

Look at the OTT dancers, all dressed as, and clutching watermelons:

Here you can fully see his ‘band’ and dancers and their pedestrian crossing choreography to the song ‘Kiwi’. Sorry if you wanted to turn left:

At least for ‘Lights Up’, they tried to be considerate of the people trying to go places. Watch them scurry to a holding tent:

This is just a moment of appreciation for Harry’s butt:

While some people were thrilled by the unexpected, free Harry Styles concert, others were impatient:

But who can honestly complain about at least four songs performed live when you’re mid-commute? It beats the radio. And what were you really going to do with that spare time at your destination? Eat a yoghurt? No one actually likes yoghurt.

It’s believed that the performance is part of Corden’s series, Crosswalk the Musical, where artists perform to people waiting at red lights. There are also some pretty legit pap pics over at the Daily Mail.

Last weekend, Harry hosted and was a musical guest on Saturday Night Live, just days after announcing a 2020 world tour.

Cannot wait for Harry Styles’ new album, Fine Line, to drop next month. That’ll sate me while I writhe with jealousy about all the countries (that are NOT AUSTRALIA) that he will be visiting.
