Hilary Duff Recreated Her Infamous ‘With Love’ Dance When She Did The Bare Minimum

Hilary Duff is known for many things: as a child star, a fashion icon, a pop singer, and in adulthood, as a talented actress. But she isn’t typically known for her dancing ability: in fact, in 2007 she performed choreography so badly that it became its own meme.

The choreography was for Duff’s song ‘With Love’, which was actually just a glorified advertisement for her new fragrance. If you forgot this song ever existed then same! It’s pure mindless pop and it’s definitely no ‘Come Clean’ or ‘So Yesterday’.

Duff performed the song a few times as part of a press tour to promote the song/perfume — and every time she did the bare minimum. Towards the end of the song, there’s a bizarre dance break for no particular reason and Duff clearly does not want to participate. Like, she’s moving her body but I don’t know if I could call what she’s doing dancing.

I love her lack of energy! Go girl, give us nothing!

The choreography is so comically basic that it’s become popular on TikTok in recent months, with users giving their best efforts to recreate it.

But now the queen herself has blessed us with a recreation of the choreography — and it’s everything we could have hoped for and more.

Duff is clearly across users on TikTok’s obsession with the dance, captioning the video on Instagram, “So I can stop receiving text[s] about this.” Like her 2007 efforts, Duff doesn’t exactly look enthused doing the dance, which makes it all the more perfect. Hang this video in the Louvre, along with Fergie doing cartwheels while singing.

Duff’s music career has taken the backseat since her 2015 album Breathe In. Breathe Out. The star has instead been focusing on her acting aspirations, starring in Younger and is currently filming How I Met Your Father, a reboot of the popular TV show How I Met Your Mother.
