Ada Nicodemou Confirms She’s Dating Her Home & Away Husband Off-Screen
“Jimmy and I are together, yes,” Ada Nicodemou confirmed in a candid interview with Stellar magazine this weekend. “It’s only early days. It’s very recent and very unexpected. I’m super happy. It’s really lovely.” At 47, Ada added, “You know what you want and what you don’t want.”
If you’re wondering who the heck these people are, let me explain.
Firstly, let’s talk fiction. Ada Nicodemou plays Leah Patterson-Baker on Home & Away and James Stewart plays Justin Morgan on the same show. Justin and Leah recently got married on Home & Away so now we have cute wedding pics of the fictional couple.

Over in real life land, Ada recently broke up with her partner Adam Rigby (and has an ex-husband, Chrys Xipolitas, who she shares her 11-year-old son with) and James recently divorced his wife of four years, Sarah Roberts – who, awkwardly, is another Home & Away alum.
So, Ada and James were single at the same time.
While that wouldn’t automatically mean they were gonna get together, rumours started to make the rounds after the pair were reportedly spotted snogging at the Seven Network Christmas Party. Then, the theories doubled down as Ada and James were spotted spending time together around Sydney.
Their history spans back from well before Home & Away, with the two starring on a short-lived soap called Breakers 25 years ago.
“We’ve always respected each other. We’ve known each other since Breakers,” Ada told Stellar. “Jimmy is an amazing actor. I’ve loved working with him for five years and I think our scenes are great. I always like going to work— we push ourselves, and push each other, in a really good way.”
For fans worried that their real-life relationship may have an impact on Summer Bay, the actors have confirmed that neither plan on leaving Home & Away anytime soon. In fact, Ada was so sure that she told Stellar, “I’m staying on until they push me out the door.”
