Whether we like it or not, the storyline that has dominated this season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has been the blossoming romance between Abbie Chatfield and Ash Williams.

From the second they met, and Ash told Abbie that she has ignored his DM, there were vibes between the pair. Eventually, they would start sharing a bed and on last night’s episode they shared two proper pashes. This would all be fine and dandy if it weren’t for the fact that when Ash is in the company of da boys (aka Grant Denyer and co.) he often speaks about Abbie like she’s “an inconvenience”, or denies that they are more than friends — even AFTER tongue-kissing her. Big yikes.

Viewers have grown increasingly tired of seeing the couple’s dynamic, which appears to be one-sided. To be fair, most viewers are very much on Abbie’s side, as it’s obvious that Ash is saying one thing to her face, and another thing behind her back.

But there are still plenty of people posting pitying tweets about Abbie, like she’s some charity case:

Abbie has had enough. She took to Twitter last night, replying to a tweet to set the record straight about Ash. She made her stance on her relationship with him abundantly clear.

She also replied to another Twitter user, tweeting that viewers are not seeing the entire picture:

After the episode, Abbie posted this to her Instagram story:

It’s important to mention that Abbie also retweeted this tweet during last night’s episode:

And Abbie retweeted this a few episodes earlier:

So there’s that! Let’s stop feeling sorry for Abbie and start rooting for her to win! She’s proven this season to be a formidable competitor, a role model, an A+ twerker, and a caring friend to her fellow campers.

Just like her appearance on 2019’s The Bachelor, this short-lived TV romance should not define her.

Ash, who?
