It’s officially been over a year since Dom Calarco and Olivia Frazer graced our screens on Married at First Sight and fans have been gearing up to see the reality stars face off once again in the current season of I’m A Celebrity.

Dom was dropped into the jungle during the premiere episode on Sunday and reality TV conspiracy theorists are convinced that her arch nemesis will be joining her there.

Why, you ask? Mainly because of a shady comment Dom made to News.com.au about her fellow MAFS bride. The makeup artist told the publication that she’d leave the show if Olivia joined her as a cast mate.

“That would be completely uncomfortable and I would hate it … I’d probably have to say the words [‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here’]. Honestly, I wouldn’t put myself in that situation again. That’s something I would never do,” she added.

The barb thrown by Dom was a little off-kilter considering that their season of MAFS wrapped filming way back in December 2021. For those who didn’t tune into Season 9, Dom and Olivia locked horns countless times, Olivia exposed Dom’s OnlyFans to other cast members without her knowledge, and the pair made it very clear that they didn’t like one another.

Some Reddit users took the interview comment as a teaser that Olivia will be joining I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here as an intruder.

Furthermore, Olivia kept uncharacteristically quiet on social media in regard to the jab. She’s well known for responding to shade thrown by Dom in her Instagram Lives and stories. Olivia’s silence has added even more speculation that she was possibly bound by a Channel 10 contract that prohibited her from responding.

Unfortunately, those hoping for some jungle-themed Dom vs Olivia drama are out of luck as Olivia has confirmed that she won’t be taking part in the show.

The OnlyFans creator squashed the rumours in an Instagram Live on Wednesday afternoon when a follower asked her when she was “going into the jungle?”.

“Not happening. So if you’re waiting for that storyline then don’t bother watching,” Olivia said.

The 29-year-old added insult to injury when she made it very clear that she won’t be watching Dom battle it out on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

“I’ve never watched an episode and I’m not about to start,” she added.

The lack of vitriol in Olivia’s answers paired with her avoidance of mentioning Dom’s name directly makes me hesitantly wonder if we’ve finally entered an era where Olivia and Dom can peacefully coexist.

If the latest episodes of I’m A Celebrity is anything to go by, perhaps Kerri-Anne Kennerley will replace Olivia as Dom’s new TV foe. The MAFS alum has already taken aim at the TV host for being allowed to bring makeup into the jungle and was left underwhelmed that Kerri-Anne refused to take part in last night’s gold star trial.
