In case you missed it, Australia’s most chaotic season of Married At First Sight is currently airing in the UK and yes, they’re going absolutely bonkers over it.

The UK Are Hooked

MAFS seems to be the only piece of entertainment getting the people of Britain through lockdown and surprise, surprise, they got as invested in the series as we did. And with this UK viewing comes the second wave of thoughts, feelings, and reactions, which means that Ines Basic is copping it… again.

Ines from 'MAFS'

Here We Go Again

In an interview with The Sun, Ines talks about the death threats she’s received in this second wave of reactions. “I’ve always wanted to go to England but I don’t know if I ever will now as I might get f***ing stabbed,” the controversial MAFS bride said. “I want everyone to know I’m a really nice girl, at the time I was just close-minded and it was all filmed two years ago. I couldn’t even be that person again if I tried.”

To refresh your memory, Ines was the bride who wasn’t impressed with her husband the literal second she saw him, berating Bronson Norrish over his eyebrow ring as they got married. “Of all the people in the world to put me with, I thought it was an insult. The eyebrow ring f***ing sent me… I was real angry about (it). Do they think I’m a piece of s**t or something, is this what I deserve (in) life?” she said.

What Ines Would Have Preferred

In the interview, she said she wished she was paired with a “hot British guy”  instead of someone with an eyebrow ring. “I once went on a date with a British guy, and he said his family member designed the wedding dress for one of the princesses and is acquainted with the Royal Family… Harry Styles is my dream. I’d used to sit there watching hours of his interviews on YouTube because I was so obsessed with him.” Well, we’re sorry to report Ines but it would seem that he’s taken.

But, while we’re on the subject of British royalty, the 30-year-old reality star also spoke about how she wishes that Queen Lizzy herself was watching her on tv. “I love the idea of the Queen sitting down (watching Married At First Sight AU) in the palace – or the Beckhams. I’d love to be in Victoria’s friend group. I promise I’m nice.”
