Oh Jonethen Musulin, you poor, poor, poor man.

When you go on Married At First Sight, your life changes completely.

Firstly, you’re forced to live and be in a relationship with a complete stranger. Secondly, your private life suddenly becomes everyone else’s business as you reach national (and sometimes international fame). And thirdly, after the show comes to an end, you proceed to live the rest of your life as a B-list or a C-list celebrity.

And while there are some perks that come with being a B-list or a C-list celebrity, sometimes those perks can be taken away from you if you didn’t cop the best edit on the show. This is where Jonethen from Married At First Sight comes in.

To refresh your memory, Jonethen was paired with Connie on the last season of Married At First Sight. Here, the two had a rocky relationship, to say the least. There were horrible miscommunications, arguments about arguing and Jonethen even admitted that he wasn’t attracted to Connie. Needless to say, Connie fans would not have liked this man.

Jonethen Musulin’s Rejection

Fast forward to today; it’s been a year since the man was on tv and he’s in Hobart for one night only. Here, the influencer was hoping to enjoy a night out with his influencer privileges. Jonethen DM’d The Grand Poobah Hotel to ask if it was possible to cut the line. And well, let’s just say, whoever was in charge of their social media was Team Connie, because he was shut the hell down.

Jonethen was brutally shut down by the establishment, as he was hit with a reply that said; “Nah you can stay in the line…this one’s for Connie.”

Sorry, Jonethen. Better luck next time.

For more on Jonethen Musulin, remember the Connie let it slip that the two hadn’t slept with each other? Ah, that was good TV.
