The OG foxy ladies are coming back! Confirming the worst-kept secret, Channel 7 have officially announced the return of Kath & Kim for a 20th anniversary special.

As we mentioned a while back, it’s been yonks since we saw the girls of Fountain Lake on our screens, so thankfully, it’s been revealed that two Kath & Kim episodes are making their way to us in November.

And a teaser and photos have just dropped! We must say, the teaser has me feeling loike we need to dress extra tizzy for this special revival, and honestly, it should be a public holiday when it finally drops.

Kath & Kim: Our Effluent Life will see the return of Kath Day-Knight (Jane Turner), Kim Craig (Gina Riley), Sharon Strzelecki (Magda Szubanski), Kel Knight (Glenn Robbins), and Brett Craig (Peter Rowsthorn). However, we do have an inkling that other Kath & Kim faves — Prue and Trude — will be making a comeback too.

Kath spoke to The Herald Sun to hype up the upcoming celebrations. “Kel is inventing a sausage to commemorate the occasion … he’s thinking Mutton dressed as Lamb, with ham,’’ she said.

Kath and Kim 20th anniversary revival our affluent life

The show’s executive producer, Rick McKenna, said that the reunion was made to celebrate the show’s success and its fanbase. “Everyone involved is incredibly proud and flattered by the love fans give from around the world. There are fans of the show who weren’t even born when the show was produced.”

There has been no talk on what the reunion specials will entail, but according to TV Blackbox, we should be expecting a variety of sketches, unseen footage, and interviews.

We can also confirm that Kim has yet to move from Kath’s home, with Kath telling the Herald Sun “Well Kim has never actually moved out for more than a week, so it’s not so much of a reunion as, here we go again peoples!”

Rumours first began to swirl of the reunion when Magda Szubanski, aka Sharon, dropped hints at this year’s TV Week Logie Awards. TV Week asked Magda about the rumoured reunion and wanted her to confirm if it was happening. “If I did, I couldn’t possibly tell you,” she told them. “If I did, I’d have to kill you and your publishers and everyone else. It would be a blood bath!

But since that little drop of tea, we’ve listed everything we know so far about this reunion, if you want to have a cheeky little snoop!

And to give you a quick update on what’s been happening with these two foxy ladies, Kath has just finished another TAFE degree, while Kimmy is off being a momager to Epponnee-Rae.

Tbh, all I’m asking is that they don’t bring Sandy Freckle back. Eww.
