The Kath & Kim revoival is literally upon us, so you best believe we’ll be putting on the footy franks for this iconic event!

About a month ago, Kath & Kim fans rejoiced after the Seven Network announced that the mother-daughter duo would be making a return to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

The extra special episode, titled Kath & Kim: Our Effluent Life, will see the return of OG characters Kath Day-Knight (Jane Turner), Kim Craig (Gina Riley), Sharon Strzelecki (Magda Szubanski), Kel Knight (Glenn Robbins), and Brett Craig (Peter Rowsthorn) but not much has been said about the plot of the show.

Alongside the announcement, Seven also dropped some first looks and even a teaser, and we’re so bloody excited!

To add to the excitement, Kath & Kim shared a first look at Kim’s daughter, Epponee-Rae Craig, all grown up. Epponee is played by the same actress that was original cast, Zara Harrington, and doesn’t she look a thousand bucks?!

Kath & Kim: Our Effluent Life is set to hit Aussie TV screens on the 20th of November, so why not throw a cheeky gatho to celebrate the return of Australia’s foxiest ladies!

Here are all the things you need to pull off the most epic Kath & Kim: Our Effluent Life watch party!

 1. A statue of little baby cheeses

Kath & Kim: The Definitive Ranking Of The Best Episodes

From one of the most iconic episodes of Season 1, a statue of baby cheeses is a must-have at your watch party.

This snack comes from ‘The Wedding’ where Kim was scolded for bringing a statue of Babybel cheeses instead of a statue of little baby Jesus for Kath and Kel’s nuptials.

Baby cheeses is definitely one of the most memorable moments of the show and all you’ll need are some Babybels and some tooth picks! Or you can get fancy and use some stringers cheese sticks and brie, go nuts!

2. Ritz, Clix and Jatz

To go with your statue of baby cheeses, you must have an array of crackers! You’ll need to have your Ritz, Clix and Jatz, but skip the Savoys because (as Kath famously said) it might get too confusing for your party guests. Also, don’t forget to decant your dipping sauce!

3. Velcro Dots

To keep your guests from falling over their clacky mules, make sure you have a sheet of velcro dots to keep them on their feet.

It’s a nice, different and unusual way to stop people from toppling over but it works. It’s also great for when you’re looking for someone: just listen for the velcro sounds.

4. $100 Mystery Cocktail

To liven up your party, you’ll definitely need some form of alcohol. So instead of cracking open the regular Tia Maria, have a cheeky cocktail like the one Kath, Kim and Sharon had at Kath’s hen’s night!

It’ll only set ya back 100 bucks but it’ll get the gatho going!

5. Wedges

After your $100 cocktail, be sure to have a warm snack option for your guests.

Wedges are not only an iconic Kath & Kim snack, but also an iconic Aussie pub dish. Top it off with some sour cream and sweet chilli, and you’re good to go!

6. Commemorative Sausage

You can’t have a Kath & Kim party without some form of commemorative sausage! Whether it be leek and veal, beef and cheese or whatever quirky combination you can find, it is a must!

A good example of an amazing commemorative sausage is the blue and yellow snags from Pryde Meats, who celebrated the NRL grand final with these colourful sausages.

7. Chardonnay for your pack of CHUNTS

Forced to invite someone who you think is a chunt? Buy a bottle of chardonnay to keep them at bay!

Chardonnay is also one of Kim’s fave beverages, so it would be wrong not to include her fave drink at a party dedicated to her and her mother.

8. Billabongs

All The Times Kim Was A Bitch On 'Kath & Kim' In The Best Way

A box of billabongs as a sweet little treat for you m8s is the perfect dessert to top of your Kath & Kim watch party spread.

Just make sure you have enough to go around so no one misses out like poor Sharon.
