A ‘MAFS’ Bride Has Just Low-Key Confirmed She’s Pregnant
Elizabeth ‘Lizzie’ Sobinoff from the 2019 and 2020 seasons of Married at First Sight has confirmed she’s pregnant!
The pizza toast queen stole all our hearts in 2019 when she first appeared on MAFS, partnered with shitshow human Sam Ball who cheated on her with Ines Basic. Lizzie joined the cast again in 2020, and was paired with Seb Guilhaus. The two dated for a year before calling it quits in 2021.
Lizzie married husband Alex Vega earlier this year, after the couple announced their engagement in mid-2022.
In recent Instagram posts, more and more people have been speculating if Lizzie is pregnant. Lizzie uploaded a post a week or so ago that was flooded with comments about her potential baby bump due to the way her hands were positioned in the photo.

Lizzie took to Instagram yesterday to upload a new post, confirming the news but sharing some wise words at the same time.
“Looking at some of these comments in the last few posts I’ve done. Always so much focus on a woman’s body (I’ve had more than my fair share) I’m navigating my body right now, so many changes, especially internally (I’ve been pretty sick).
I also understand so many people are excited. So am I!!!! It’s an exciting time in our lives right now. I’ll talk about my experience with it in the future. Mama bear is just nesting right now,” she captioned the post.

While we’re thrilled for Lizzie and her partner, it is worth noting that constant commentary on a woman’s changing body isn’t necessary. No one ever knows what someone else is going through and in this case, speculative comments can make people feel extremely uncomfortable or pressured to share the news before they’re ready.
