A ‘Love Is Blind’ Couple Is Getting Divorced AKA True Love Is A Big Scam
Just when we thought that one dating show actually worked, a Love Is Blind couple has confirmed they’re getting divorced.
Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones met on Season 2 of the Netflix reality show and have shared a joint statement on their respective Instagrams to announce that they have separated and have begun “the process of divorcing.”

“While we have love for each other, our lives are going in different directions,” the reality stars wrote about their relationship breakdown. The pair went on to address their Love Is Blind fans. “Each of you have brought overwhelming love and joy into our lives. This experience has taught us so much about ourselves, vulnerability and more. We don’t regret a single thing.”
It won’t come as a huge shock to Season 2 viewers that Iyanna and Jarrette have broken up. They had a tumultuous time together on the dating experiment, with Jarrette flip-flopping between being interested in his TV fiancé Iyanna and another contestant, Mallory Zapata.
But ultimately Jarrette chose Iyanna and the two officially got hitched in June last year, which means their marriage only lasted a little over a year. Grim!
In light of this news, the only couple still hitched from the 2022 season are Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl, who were known for being high-key chaotic together. Nick and Danielle appeared to be an odd pairing, with Nick a quiet type while Danielle loved to party with friends, and rather specifically…. dress up in novelty costumes while dancing on tables.

And this somehow was a perfect match because these two appear to still be thriving.

Along with Nick and Danielle, Season 1 power couple Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton are still going strong. They will be celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary this year, which will probably make you reassess what you’ve been doing with your recent dating life.

And against all odds, Amber Pike and Matt Barnett are still married. For those who can’t remember what went down on Season 1 (it was over two years ago, you’re forgiven), Barnett got caught in a love triangle with Amber and absolute chaos demon, Jessica Batten.
Jessica attempted to seduce Barnett but was eventually rejected as his loyalty remained with Amber. In a moment from the reunion I’ll never forget, Amber referred to Jessica’s behaviour throughout the season as “shiesty!”
While this was long in the past, Amber still held a grudge against Jessica when Season 1’s follow-up special Love Is Blind: After The Altar streamed in 2021. In Jessica’s defence, she expressed remorse and seems to now be a well-adjusted person… who no doubt still probably feeds her dog red wine.
But we digress, Amber and Barnett are still happy and in love!

Sending all our love to Iyanna and Jarrette at this sad time. But in better news, Season 3 of Love Is Blind is dropping THIS year, and the reality TV phenomenon has been renewed for a fourth and fifth season.
The new season will be set in Dallas, Texas. Can I get a yee-haw?
