‘Love Is Blind’ Mean Girl Irina Has Begun Her Apology Tour
Irina Solomonova has been touted as the villain of Season 4 of Netflix’s Love Is Blind, after her mean girl antics left a sour taste in many viewers’ mouths.
From her snarky behaviour towards the other women, to her complete dismissal of Zack after they met, and then telling her show bestie Micah that she had feelings for Micah’s fiancé Paul, Irina did a lot of damage in a short amount of time while on the show.
Fans of the show were quick to call Irina (and Micah) out as mean girls, particularly when Amber was left heartbroken when Paul dumped her and Irina seemed to take great amusement from the whole situation.
In what capacity is listening to someone else's heartbreak funny? This whole scene is just disgusting and immature #LoveIsBlind #LoveisBlind4 pic.twitter.com/hqrTgOLBgA

Since the season started airing on Netflix, Irina has taken to Instagram to apologise for her behaviour and for how she’s ‘mistreated’ people.
“The first thing I want to say is I have privately apologised to the people I have hurt and mistreated. Second of all, I wanted to say I’m so so sorry for the people who watched the show who felt frustrated, angry, hurt, by the way I was mistreating people on the show. It was very immature and naive of me.
“I wanted to say Zack, Bliss, Amber, Jackie, Micah, none of those people deserved to be treated the way I treated them,” Irina said in the video.
“I am genuinely so sorry. I feel like being on the show was like having a mirror put in front of your face in the sense of seeing yourself from a different perspective and that opened up so much to me and I’m still processing and going through everything that happened. I know none of those things were OK, even Zack, he was so vulnerable with me and I still mistreated him and shut him out,” she finished.

Irina also alluded to going through her own emotional issues while on the show, and while she didn’t explicitly state what was going on, she hopes to in the future.
