Jackie Has Taken Over As The New ‘Love is Blind’ Villain And What The Hell
Love is Blind has given us our fair share of dramatic couples and bad breakups over the years: from Shayne and Natalie’s on-and-off drama, to Cole and Zanab’s toxic breakup, and who could forget Raven and SK making us believe in love before it was all torn apart?
As the couples adjust back into real life post-Mexican holiday, with just a few short weeks to decide if they want to say “I do”, we see some couples thrive while others crumble.
In Season 4 of Love is Blind, Marshall and Jackelina (aka Jackie) seemed to be one of the couples who got off to a strong start before crumbling when moving in together. As Jackie appeared to push Marshall away and be overwhelmed with his desire to talk about their feelings and their relationship, Marshall dropped the terrible line about Jackie being a “project” and while he apologised, it’s been a car crash to watch since then.

What we didn’t see coming though was Jackie deciding to rekindle a relationship with another pod match, Josh, all while Marshall appeared to be shopping for a suit for their impending wedding. This resulted in the two breaking up (timeline TBD, please see the latter half of this article) and Jackie then REFUSING to give her engagement ring back to Marshall.
DRAMA.
Even after this all unfolded, Jackie herself didn’t seem that convinced about what she was doing. “I don’t even know if I’m going to be with Josh. I don’t! I don’t know if I’m going to be with anybody,” she said in her confessional. “Damn, I’m crazy! I need to probably do some self-work!”
Might not be the worst idea.
As the new episodes have played out, some leaked text messages from Jackie to friends have surfaced, where she allegedly makes some homophobic comments about Marshall. While it hasn’t been 100% confirmed it is indeed Jackie, the evidence is pretty damning.

Jackie alleges that she and Marshall were already broken up by the time she went to go see Josh and in regards to the ring, because Marshall didn’t pay for it himself, she felt like she should be allowed to keep it.
