Netflix’s Love Is Blind is back for a second season, and things are already looking more dramatic than last season.
Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey.. for some reason… the show follows single people who meet and go on blind dates in different pods, without being able to see each other. They form connections based on their conversations and various interactions and leave the pods engaged, before laying eyes on each other for the first time.
Later they’re shipped off to their honeymoons, then move in together as they navigate life as newly-engaged couples while counting down to their wedding day.
The very first season of Love Is Blind saw success with couples like Lauren and Cameron, as well as Barnett and Amber, who are all still happily married to this day. But can Season 2 replicate such epic love stories?
Already even the strongest of relationships have suffered some cracks during the Mexico holiday. Danielle’s insecurities got the better of her with Nick, and Mallory and Jarette were playing with fire talking about their connection with each other while their chosen partners remained oblivious.
Then there’s the Shaina, Shayne, Natalie, and Kyle love debacle that feels all too reminiscent of Jessica, Barnett, and Mark from Season 1, with Shaina caught up on the fact that maybe she made the wrong choice not opening up to Shayne sooner about her true feelings before he proposed to Natalie.
