Love Is Blind is back with a vengeance with Season 2 just about to drop its final episodes, and there’s no denying the season has been dominated by the love square between Shaina, Shayne, Natalie, and Kyle.

For the unfamiliar, Love Is Blind invites a bunch of single people to get to know potential partners inside the privacy of pods, which means they can’t see who they are speaking to and the connection they build is based on personality alone.

Every season, a handful of couples actually end up engaged by the end of the process, before they meet each other in the flesh, go on their honeymoons, and even move in together. Each series concludes with the couples either getting married or someone getting dumped at the altar.

Season 1 saw Jessica emerge as the season’s villain when she attempted to come between happy couple Barnett and Amber. But Season 2’s Shaina makes Jessica look like a goddamn saint in light of her recent chaotic behaviour on the show.

The season began with Shayne forming a bond with both Natalie and Shaina in the pods. Shayne’s connection with the two women couldn’t have been more different: he spoke to Natalie about his family and career, while he talked to Shaina about what she was wearing.

Meanwhile, Shaina was speaking regularly to another contestant named Kyle. However, they didn’t appear to have much in common as Shaina is a dedicated Christian and Kyle is a staunch atheist. Kyle didn’t see this as a significant barrier and ended up proposing to Shaina, who (for some reason??) accepted despite previously voicing her reservations over their opposing views on religion.

Even after accepting Kyle’s proposal, Shaina kept talking to Shayne but ultimately he proposed to Natalie. The honeymoon stage then began and while Shayne and Natalie grew closer as a couple, Shaina was not having a bar of Kyle — she left their Mexico holiday early, but not before she encouraged this vegetarian man to eat steak.

After returning back home, Shaina broke up with Kyle who was obviously left upset that she had wasted his time. But Shaina wasn’t done! At a barbecue, which saw the current and past pod members reunite, upon meeting Shayne for the first time, Shaina spoke to him solo and what she said has infuriated fans.

Shayne confronted Shaina over a phone conversation she had with Natalie where she had implied she wanted to set someone up with Natalie — a happily engaged woman. Shaina clarified to Shayne she had actually said: “Well, if he doesn’t work out, I’ve got a friend for you.” It’s not much better, sis!

In the tense conversation, Shaina then see-sawed between being apologetic and then making loaded comments about the couple. “I don’t know if you guys are bored in your relationship that you had to throw me in there?” she ranted. Shaina then told Shayne it was “comical” that he thought he was compatible with Natalie.

It was a lot! It’s unclear whether that’s the last we’ll see of Shaina before Shayne and Natalie’s wedding, but bring on the reunion! Until then, here are some tweets about Love Is Blind’s queen of chaos that are too funny.
