Last week, the third season of Love Island Australia came to an end and — to absolutely no one’s surprise — Mitch and Tina were declared the winners.

But just days on from the Love Island Australia finale, there was one question on everyone’s lips: what the hell is going on with Aaron and Jess?

The couple had their ups and downs in the villa with Jess originally losing interest in Aaron in favour of fan-favourite Taku, only for them to get back together, then come close to ending things over a nipple-slip.

Today, Jess confirmed the breakup in an Instagram Story, writing: “Hey guys, a lot of people have been asking about Aaron and I. Unfortunately we are no longer together. We both agreed it’s for the best for both of us. Appreciate all of your love & support.”

Here’s everything we know about Jess and Aaron’s breakup.

A Jess And Aaron Instagram Deep-Dive

In Aaron’s first Instagram post after leaving the Love Island villa and regaining control over his social media accounts, he wrote: “I’m BACK! What a crazy experience that was. I’m so glad I got to share it with such a great bunch of people and made some lifelong friends! Thank you to everyone for the support and messages. I’ll get back to you all as soon as I can.”.

In the post, Aaron shared photos of a number of fellow contestants including Ryan, Mitch, Zoe, and Taku. Notably absent from the photo dump was Jess.

Meanwhile, Jess has only posted one photo since leaving the villa and, well, Aaron’s definitely not in it.

Several fans have pointed out that Jess and Aaron aren’t following each other on Instagram.

The Jess And Aaron Breakup Rumours

According the latest episode of So Dramatic!, fans in a Love Island Australia Facebook group have alleged that Aaron has been seen with other women since the finale aired and that — and this is a big one — in a pre-recording of the show’s finale, Aaron allegedly chose to take the $50,000 prize money, rather than split it with Jess, when filming their alternate-ending win.

While none of these allegations have been confirmed, they sure are food for thought.
