Fans of Love Island UK will know that Casa Amor brings out the worst in people, and by people, I mean men.

Casa Amor is a twist that hasn’t been adapted to the Australian format — big mistake, huge! — and basically separates all the show’s couples, sending either the boys or girls into a different villa (Casa Amor, duh) before dropping in a whole new batch of sexy singles to tempt them into cheating on their respective partners.

This year’s men truly outdid themselves in how little they regarded their original partners. Toby immediately forget Abigail ever existed — even after what he put Chloe (and the villa) through just to match with her. Jake and Teddy stayed loyal sleeping alone on the daybeds, but Tyler cheated on Kaz and, most shockingly, Liam who was arguably in one of the villa’s strongest matches with Millie, slept in a bed with new girl Lillie. He also kissed Lillie outside of challenges, all while Millie, Kaz, Liberty, Abigail, and Faye (literally every girl except Chloe) spent their first nights sleeping on either the daybed or the couch out of respect for their partners.

While Jake didn’t cheat on Liberty, he was the main person who was encouraging Liam to cheat on Millie. Despite being there from day one, Jake didn’t have any of the girls’ backs, not even Liberty’s bestie Kaz. When it came to Tyler hooking up with Clarisse — despite being coupled up with Kaz — Jake continuously pushed the fellas to cheat. It was so shameless that there’s even a theory among UK fans that Jake is trying to sabotage all the other relationships to ensure that he and Liberty win.

Shit truly hit the fan at the recoupling ceremony. Liam returned alone to get back with Millie but Lillie had other ideas. She burst into the villa to tell everyone how Liam had been flirting with her and leading her on, which left Millie in tears and questioning her connection to Liam. I had these two pegged as the winners, but Liam just destroyed that dream.

The only true gentleman to come out of Casa Amor was Teddy, who remained loyal to Faye, sleeping on a daybed the entire time while cuddling Faye’s teddy. My heart! This made it even more painful as Teddy returned solo but Faye decided to rematch with Sam, after seeing a postcard showing Teddy kissing someone in Casa Amor. It was all a massive miscommunication, so let’s pray those two crazy kids can work it out because at this stage, they’re our last hope.

If Casa Amor taught us anything it’s that men ain’t shit (except Teddy) and women rule.
