Here Are The ‘Love Island UK’ Couples That Are Still Together & Wow It’s Grim

We are all set to kick off the first Aussie season of successful UK reality dating series Love Island, which inspired us to see what kind of track record the show has for its contestants actually finding love.

Sorry to say this, but… the outlook is grim.

When the series was rebooted and began back in 2015, it was immediately a massive success. But that doesn’t mean the series creates long-lasting relationships, with most couples splitting soon after the camera stopped rolling.

Some of my series faves from last year like Kem and Amber, Marcel and Gabby, and Chris and Olivia have all headed to splitsville since, and it cuts real deep.

Here are the Love Island UK couples that have lasted the distance:

Jess & Dom

While in the last season Dom was originally matched with Montana, he quickly ditched her for Jess and the couple hasn’t looked back.

They’re currently engaged and even had a live faux wedding on Good Morning Britain... while wearing just their cozzies. Keepin’ it classy, as always.

Cally & Luis

Luis’s ex Cally came in as an unexpected intruder on the 2016 series and the two have been on/off ever since. But they appear to be on again, as they just welcomed a baby into the fam. That’s some attractive genes, right there.

Olivia & Alex

These two may not have immediately coupled up on the second season of Love Island, but they went on to finish runners-up and have been going strong ever since. Their Insta-game is ridic.

Everything and more. Always. 4 months to go boo. ❤️????

Cara & Nathan

They hit it off straight away on the reality show, and viewers froffed them together so much so that they were crowned the winners of Love Island 2016.

Cara and Nathan are still going strong and have even had a bubba. They remain the only winning couple that is still together, which is grim AF.

 Camilla & Jamie

Love isn’t dead. My absolute fave Love Island couple are still going strong. They do things like raise funds for charities, visit refugee camps together and are actual angels.

This means that only five couples have lasted out of the 25 original pairs.

Yup, the Aussie season ain’t lookin’ too promising.
