If the beginning of Love Island UK is like Christmas time, then the fallout from Casa Amor is Christmas morning for reality TV fans.

And this year, fans were not left disappointed. For the unfamiliar, Casa Amor is the week when the boys and girls are separated and greeted with a bunch of bombshells to tempt them to cheat on their partners. The most dramatic part comes as each contestant returns either with a new partner, or decides to stay in their original couple.

Cue: heartbreak when some islander is left standing alone as their partner returns in a new couple. Yes, I am absolutely talking about 2019’s Amber and that chaldish ex of hers, Michael.

As is tradition during Casa Amor, this year the boys all acted like damn fools, with most instantly forgetting who they were coupled up with. There was Dami who wrecked a great thing he had with Indiyah by making out with Summer from the first night, a bombshell he later recoupled with. Luckily for Indiyah, she recoupled up with Deji but she didn’t kiss him the entire time out of respect Dami.

This came as a shock, as fans loved Dami and Indiyah together — they seemed to be going from strength to strength  before Casa Amor. The same goes from Jacques and Paige, who had previously been tested when Jay tried to pursue Paige. She ended up friend-zoning Jay after Jacques told her his feelings for her had deepened.

But psych! Over in Casa Amor, Jacques started to pursue another girl to test out his relationship with Paige. “If I’m feeling the kiss tonight with a girl, then I’ll feel a kiss tonight with a girl. I’ll deal with the consequences,” he told the boys, before kissing Cheyanne and sharing a bed with her.

Meanwhile, Paige didn’t kiss or even flirt with any of the Casa Amor boys.

While Jacques ultimately decided to stay in his original couple, Cheyanne informed Paige of what he’d been up to while she was away. In response, Paige promptly dumped Jacques. 🙂

Prior to Jacques’ indiscretions, he and Paige were one of the strongest couples in the villa. Will they bounce back? Based on the antics of last year’s winner Liam — who cheated on beloved islander and co-winner Millie while in Casa Amor — anything could happen.

Most of the week’s drama came courtesy of Andrew, who started his week being told by the Casa Amor bombshells that his current partner, Tasha, was making him look like a mug, leading to Andrew acting like a mug by hooking up repeatedly with a new girl, Coco.

Despite Andrew and Tasha both recoupling with new people, once they reunited, the feelings between them were still strong and it looked like they might get back together. However, after being friend-zoned by Andrew, Coco then revealed that Andrew hadn’t just kissed her during Casa Amor, he had been “sucking my tits” in Tasha’s absence.

Coco told Andrew that the tit-sucking story had got out, so then in one of the most hilarious scenes so far, Andrew pulled Tasha aside to admit “I licked her tit, or whatever.” Tasha was left fuming.

Luckily, it wasn’t all bad. Gemma and Luca stayed loyal to one another and had an adorable reunion, although Luca soon became jealous of Gemma’s friendship with newcomer, Billy.

And the power couple none of us saw coming — Davide and Ekin-Su — also remained a couple. The latest episode ended with Davide proving to be a comedy genius when he interrupted Tasha yelling that Andrew was “a liar!” by interjecting “that’s my line”.

We must stan a man who cannot read the room.

It was so funny. As were all the memes to come out of the Casa Amor fallout.
