The Aussie production company behind one of Netflix’s most heartwarming shows, Love On The Spectrum U.S.has won three Emmys.

In this year’s 74th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Love On The Spectrum U.S. won in three categories, including Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program, Outstanding Picture Editing for Unstructured Reality Program, and Outstanding Casting For A Reality Program.

Northern Pictures, who created the successful Australian series as well as its spin-off, Love On The Spectrum U.S., were up against other major hit shows including Ru Paul’s Drag Race, Below Deck Mediterranean, and Selling Sunset.

In case you’ve never stumbled upon LOTS, even though it’s one of the best shows on telly, Love On The Spectrum follows people on the autism spectrum and their journey to finding love. The US adaption came off the back of the successful Australian series, which aired on ABC and later went on to charm international audiences on Netflix, with breakout star Michael even appearing on the Ellen show.

As reported by Mediaweek, showrunner and co-creator of Love On The Spectrum, Cian O’Clery, said, “It was an amazing process and Netflix totally supported our vision. Thank you to the whole producing team, and the amazing editors who’ve come over from Australia…The most important people to thank are the cast. We wouldn’t be here without the participants in the show, so thank you. You’re the reason we’re here tonight.”

Congrats to the Northern Pictures team and the cast of Love on the Spectrum! It was a win well-deserved.

Love On The Spectrum is available to watch on Netflix.
