Good news! Everyone’s favourite docuseries Love on the Spectrum is back with a brand new season, this time focusing on our friends over in the US who are looking for love.

The popular series first kicked off in Australia, with two stellar seasons drawing an international crowd in after Netflix picked up the series. The series follows people on the autism spectrum on their journey to find love and connections in the dating world.

While the docuseries is a heartwarming and wholesome way to watch people go on dates and fall for each other, it also shines a light on the obstacles those who are neurodivergent face in the modern-day dating world, whether it’s the battle to find organic connections or defying social stigmas and stereotypes.

The US series of Love on the Spectrum is on Netflix as of today, and it follows Dani, Steve, Abbey, James, Kaelynn, and Subodh on their dating journey, and ultimately, the path to overall self-discovery. And if you’re a TikTok fan, chances are you may have recognised one contestant from this series: Abbey boasts over 350k followers on the social media platform.

Australian director and co-creator Cian O’Clery told Today that the US series was a great opportunity to introduce a diverse group of people to a bigger audience. “We also want to tell more stories,” he said. “There are more people, and we want to continue to shine a light on the diversity of the spectrum.”
