Which Couples From ‘Love Triangle’ Are Still Together?

Love Triangle season two delivered us twists, texting scandals, breakups, makeups and even an inter-triangle hookup – making it the spiciest season yet!

But now that the season has wrapped and the triangle-ers are back in the real world, I want to know who is actually still together, who broke up and who’s now single. 

So, I did some snooping to find out and have plonked all the evidence here for you. 

Love Triangle: Who does Sam end up with?

In the season’s biggest plot twist, Sam – while dating two girls on the show, Emily and Sophie – was caught with his mic on having a dirty phone call with a third girl, called Hannah. When interrogated by producers later on, he claimed that Hannah was just a friend who was looking after his cat. However, the full call was aired in a Love Triangle episode where we heard a very different kind of cat as the focus… 

He also spoke to his sister on the phone while mic-ed up and admitted to her, “I love Hannah. I’m going to marry Hannah. This is just my last hurrah!” 

And it seems he wasn’t lying about that, at least. After he was confronted by producers about Hannah he left Love Triangle for good and headed to Dubai where he is now in a serious relationship with Hannah.

We unfortunately didn’t get an update on the cat. Hope it’s okay too. 

Love Triangle: Who does Jacinta end up with? 

Jacinta picked Nemo straight off the bat and when they moved in together, their relationship got serious very quickly. They were intensely into each other and dropped the L-Bomb while in the experiment. But then Jacinta’s second choice, Sheree, arrived and stirred the pot. Jacinta got the hots for her pretty quick and that kinda soured things with Jacinta and Nemo. 

But they hauled themselves back to a sort-of-relo, before deciding to take some time apart before their final decision so they could be sure about moving forward as partners if that’s what they were going to choose.

They met up for dinner and had the ‘chat’. Here’s how it went down:

“This love is real and I hope you can see that,” Jacinta said. “I feel that, but I’m not confident that it’s going to work,” Nemo replied. 

“I want to know, yes or no, do you want to be together?” Jacinta asked before a long, sad-looking pause from Nemo. He eventually responded with his head down saying: “Not at this moment, no.” 

It was a truly devastating moment. I had such hope for them and think they’re a genuinely great couple, but it seems that the experiment just pushed them too far apart. As Nemo put it, “You can love someone and not trust them.”

Jacinta was pissed with the outcome, telling cameras after the dinner date, “I’m feeling disappointed. I’m feeling heartbroken. But I put everything on the table. I gave him everything – all of me – and he doesn’t want to try. He doesn’t want to take the risk. I know Nemo loves me, but just not enough.”

Despite Nemo ringing Jacinta in the early hours of that morning after their final date (perhaps to reconcile), Jacinta refused to pick up and the two haven’t spoken since. 

Love Triangle: Who does Tamera end up with? 

Spoiler alert: no one.

She ended up forming a connection with Jackson, but unfortunately, it was just one of friendship. He definitely hoped that there would be more on the agenda for them, but she plonked him firmly in the friendzone, saying she would call him for a tennis match.

Since the show wrapped, she hasn’t phoned Jackson and now he’s moved on with someone else. Tamera is still single. 

Love Triangle: Who does Nell end up with? 

Nellie went on a real ~journey~ on Love Triangle, falling for Dan before he both friendzoned and slut-shamed her. Then Richard (her second choice) arrived on the scene and seemed to be ‘the one’, but he ended up disappointing her too.

But in a surprising twist, Nellie getting to know Richard sparked something in Dan and suddenly he was into Nellie! She was stoked, but cautious, as the two got to know each other again.

They met for their final date on the show and seemed to be in a good, respectful place. They certainly weren’t a ‘couple’ but were optimistic that they’d knock a few beers back with each other 

Nellie and Dan have kept in contact since the show wrapped, texting and calling each other a lot. Nellie also received some late-night phone calls from Richard, but she’s blocked him now. Hehe. 

Love Triangle: Who does Alan end up with? 

Alan and Caity, the third corner of their triangle ended on friendly terms, with a casual invite to Wogga to “milk” his “cow”, whatever the heck that means. But Alan’s final chapter with Jess – the girl he originally picked – ended on a seriously sour note.

 “I should have fucking left this experiment a long time ago,” said Jess.

So he’s leaving single, right? Well, it’s not that straightforward. Because Alan hit it off with one of Sam’s matches, Sophie, and the two spent a lot of the group dinner parties flirting. Alan felt a little stuck in the middle because he’s genuinely mates with Sam, and Sophie isn’t chill with that.

Three days after moving out of his Love Triangle house, Alan arranges to meet up Sophie. It’s a scene stuffed with dramatic music, and shots of Alan waiting on a park bench for Sophie. It’s tense. It’s stressful. And then Sophie rocks up. 

Alan is honest about his feelings for Sophie, saying that he’s drawn to her in every room and he hasn’t felt this way for years. She seems less into him if I’m honest, but she agrees to go on a date.

They went for drinks and stayed in a hotel room together that night, so their date must have gone okay! They ended up dating for a few weeks after that before Sophie ultimately called it off. The two are supposedly both single now. 

Love Triangle: Who does Sulei end up with? 

I am not ashamed to say that Sulei was by far my favourite dude on Love Triangle. He just seemed so genuine and like he was really trying to give love a go. 

He originally picked Lisa, who he got along with really well, but didn’t feel a massive spark romantically. Then Lili arrived on the scene. Sulei was a little standoffish with her at first, as she’d sent a bunch of intense messages when they were in the texting stage, but they ended up getting on really well. 

So much so that when it came down to decision time, Sulei gave Lisa the flick and asked to meet up with Lili.

“We are the most opposite people,” Sulei said of his relationship with her, before explaining that he did actually like spending time with her. He asked Lili on a date outside of the experiment with one condition: no heavy metal concerts. She agreed, and the two wandered off for a coffee together, sounding optimistic about the future.

Since the show wrapped, they’ve kept texting and calling each other, but things haven’t progressed beyond a cute friendship.
