This ‘Home & Away’ Star Has Signed Up For The Next Season Of ‘MAFS’
Even though we’re smack bang in the middle of the MAFS off-season, drama from the past brides and grooms keeps coming in thick and fast and we have a batch of rumours about the new season brewing too.
This is meant to be downtime for entertainment journos like me, but thank god I didn’t book a holiday because it’s been BUSY.
The latest news to bubble out of Married At First Sight is that an actor is joining its ranks – not as an extra or host, but as a bride.
You’ll likely recognise Maddy Jevic as Amber Simmons in Home And Away or as Brianna Wheeler in Upper Middle Bogan. But now she’s landed her hardest role yet – surviving the mayhem that follows every MAFS contestant.
She was spotted entering the Skye Suites in Sydney’s Green Square (which is where MAFS traps houses their contestants during filming) where paparazzi put two and two together and linked her to the new season. And the snoopers didn’t stop there.
The Daily Mail has reported that she’s been paired at first sight with a Melbourne-based pest control worker named Ash Galati, as he was heading into the Suites at the same time.

According to ‘inside’ sources, the new MAFS cast members were super suspicious of Maddy from the get-go as she didn’t admit to being an actress and instead told the cast she was a practising psychic/medium. This behaviour had the cast calling Maddy a ‘mole’ who was hired to cause even more mayhem on the show.
Not to criticise you, MAFS, but you’ve got enough drama already. That being said, *apparently* the upcoming season of MAFS will have a “greater focus on finding love for the contestants than ratings”. But if the rate of rumours coming out of this next season is anything to go by, I think we’ve definitely got another spicy series ahead.
