Olivia Claims She Was “Scared” To Tell The Truth About ‘MAFS’

It seems like at least two lifetimes have passed since Olivia Frazer was on MAFS. We’ve since had a bunch of messy drama from the 2023 cast plus some juicy leaks from the upcoming 2024 season – but Olivia is still not done talking about her time on the show. 

The Season 9 villain recently claimed that she was “scared” to tell the truth about what went on during filming, as she’d signed a NDA before appearing as a participant. 

She shared a quote on Instagram from Love Is Blind’s Nick Thompson, who said he was worried about “potentially being sued” after sharing his “story of alleged mistreatment”. Anyway, Olivia threw in her two cents worth in a lengthy statement and I’m not gonna lie, it’s quite heavy. It’s an open secret that producers often push reality contestants to the limit – I should know, I used to be a reality TV producer – but the MAFS star has opened a whole new can of worms.

Apparently, the MAFS publicist would remind Olivia not to go off script during press interviews, saying she could only talk about what the audience saw on TV. 

“It was so scary when the show was airing and I want to tell the truth about what happened,” she said. “What you guys don’t know is that before every interview the publicist for MAFS would remind me, ‘Remember you signed an NDA and you can’t talk about what happened off camera or what wasn’t shown. Only what the audience saw’.”

“Which in other words is, ‘go along with our storyline or we’ll sue the pants off of you’,” she added.

The former MAFS bride told her followers that was “uncomfortable” during old interviews with Kyle and Jackie O and Fitzy and Wippa. She claimed she wanted to “tell the truth” at the time but was scared of “legal ramifications”.

Yikes. I feel like these days reality TV contestants know about the possibility of having a ‘bad edit’, but not being able to tell their side of the story during the aftermath seems a bit rough.
