We Reckon We Know Which ‘MAFS’ Couples Are Still Together
As Married at First Sight passes the halfway stage, there’s already plenty of signs that point to which couples (if any?) go the distance.
It feels like a lifetime ago, but 12 couples have entered the experiment, and three pairs have already left single. What do we make of those who are left? Some couples never had much of a chance with Harrison and Bronte butting heads from their wedding day while Claire and Jesse were just starting to get along before being rocked by a cheating scandal.
Meanwhile, Dan and Sandy look set to break-up any day, as do Duncan and Alyssa who continue to bicker nonstop.
Then there’s our intruder couples — Evelyn and Rupert, along with Tayla and Hugo — who are so terribly matched, we doubt either will even make it to the final vows. Lydall and Cameron, aka the one couple who appeared the strongest and most compatible from the start, have started to completely fall apart in recent weeks. And that’s not even mentioning that both parties are rumoured to have moved on with other contestants.
In short, this year’s couples are a disaster. But after some heavy sleuthing, we’ve landed on two couples who we can confidently say are probably still together.
Which Married At First Sight couples are still together?
Ollie and Tahnee
This is the golden couple we’ve all been rooting for and we can safely report that these two are stronger than ever. Ollie and Tahnee might be the youngest contestants in this year’s experiment, but they’ve brought maturity beyond their years to their relationship.
I guess this is what happens when two people are actually well-matched to each other, and not just forced together for drama. *Cough* Josh and Melissa *Cough*.
Throughout the season, the couple have shared sweet selfies together. These snaps are too cute for words.

These two are made for each other, and their relationship has only gotten more serious since the experiment ended: Tahnee and Ollie have just moved in together. Aww! Ollie was papped arriving at Sydney airport to a loving embrace from Tahnee, with Daily Mail reporting that Ollie had packed up his belongings to move in with his TV wife in early February.
“Ollie and Tahnee spent New Year’s together and have met each other’s families,” a source told Daily Mail. “They are truly mad for each other. Ollie packed up his life in Perth to be with her.”
This couldn’t happen to a more deserving couple. WE LOVE LOVE!
Layton and Melinda
The experiment’s power couple got off to a rocky start. Upon meeting at their wedding, Melinda joked that Layton was “punching” in the looks department. But with every new MAFS episode, this couple appear to be getting stronger and we strongly suspect that they’re still together.
The couple were papped in September while they were still filming and they were holding hands. Yes, they were still in the experiment at that stage, but plenty of couples papped have not been holding hands, or looking particularly like a couple. These two appear to be the real deal.
During filming, the couple were also spotted going on a cheeky Macca’s run with fellow cuties, Tahnee and Ollie, after a dinner party. You know what they say*, couples who late-night binge together, stay together!
(* I say that.)
Another clue that the couple are still on good (maybe romantic?) terms is Melinda frequently posting personal photos from the experiment, including this cute image of Layton.

The business savvy pair consistently share couple snaps that feel quite intimate, instead of only press shots distributed by Channel 9. By contrast, contestants like shaky couple Bronte and Harrison, along with Claire and Jesse, have only posted press shots from the episodes.

Layton also regularly shares candid photos with loving captions that suggest he and Melinda are still together.

While we don’t have any concrete evidence that Layton and Melinda are still dating, I’m BIG on vibes and these two are giving off wholesome couple energy.
