The ‘MAFS’ Cast Are Feuding With Abbie Chatfield On Instagram
Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield has angered a bunch of ex-MAFS contestants after she called them jealous while trying to defend Domenica Calarco, and the whole situation is just chaotic!
Firstly, it must be noted that this whole controversy is completely separate from the whole boxing battle fiasco that happened over the weekend.
The drama stems from the trailer of Dom’s Debrief, a web series on Nine.com.au that follows Domenica and her cast mates for a little post-production catch-up. Think of it as a reunion, but via video call.

However past contestants including Olivia Frazer, Carolina Santos, and Daniel Holmes have dragged the new series, flooding the trailer with shady comments.
Reality TV star turned Australian entertainment icon Abbie Chatfield came to Dom’s defence in the comments, and let’s just say the MAFS gang weren’t happy with her two cents either.

To break down all the drama, here’s the tea surrounding Abbie Chatfield and the Season 9 Married At First Sight cast:
What Abbie said:
With the Dom’s Debrief post being flooded with negative comments from previous Season 9 members, Abbie wrote, “The jealousy from ex contestants in these comments is so funny.”
The Masked Singer judge then took to her Instagram stories to double down on her “jealousy” comment.
“It’s just very transparent (that) the people from MAFS are very jealous of Dom and the opportunities she has gotten and it’s not a case of ‘there must be a reason why everyone doesn’t like her.’ Yeah the reason is they’re jealous,” Abbie said.

Abbie then went to throw some slight shade saying that Dom, Ella Ding, Jack Millar, and Al Perkins were the only ones that she knows from that cast. Ouchies!
Olivia’s response
On the original Dom’s Debrief post, Olivia, who was known for her huge beef with Dom throughout Season 9, wrote “😂 but producers don’t favour anyone, right?”
After Abbie’s rant and comment on the MAFS post, Olivia posted a lengthy instagram post calling out The Bachelor alumn and MAFS producers.

After this statement, Olivia did a Q&A sesh on her Instagram Stories, where she blasted Abbie for her comments.
“Abbie has no idea what she is talking about. She wasn’t a cast member on our show, she wasn’t behind the scenes. She has no idea what she is talking about.I think uneducated people should stay in their lane.”

Carolina’s response
Carolina has been against Dom’s Debrief from the start. A couple of weeks ago, Carolina leaked screenshots sent by Channel Nine inviting her to jump on Dom’s spin-off web series.
Under the teaser for the show, Carolina wrote a sarcastic comment. “Your number is blocked hon oops. Devo that I missed it 🤣 Chatting to you would be like a dream of mine.”
And just like Olivia, Carolina had a few words to say about Abbie’s comment.
The Season 9 bride took to her Instagram Stories to address Abbie’s statement saying, “Wasn’t that you that also left Bachelor, copping a lot of hate and being slut shamed because of your actions or editing or whatever?”
And similar to Olivia, Carolina told Abbie to “shut her mouth” and “stay in her lane.”

At the end of Carolina’s rant, Carolina doubled down on the fact that she’s not jealous of Dom and her career.
“Just to make it clear, I’m not jealous of Dom. None of us is jealous of Dom. We all chose to turn down the invitation to (take part) of this BS online chat with her because we all find her a toxic person.”
Daniel’s reply
Daniel replied to Abbie directly on the Dom’s Debrief post writing “zip it, dork.”
Daniel then did a Q&A where a fan asked, “what is the go with Abbie Chatfield drama?”… and let’s just say the Instagram Story went on for a bit.
“She’s just some chick that commented on a MAFS post that has nothing to do with her. She’s a washed up chick from The Bachelor or something and then bit the formula for Call Her Daddy and made a podcast and she comes in fucking guns blazing on a MAFS post that she has nothing to do with, and I was like ‘if you’re coming at us, I’m gonna throw heat straight back at ya!’ And then that’s it.”

Daniel then doubled down on his opinions on Abbie with a series of written Instagram Stories over a screenshot from her Instagram Stories asking if “she’s ballin” and saying that Abbie is “cooked.”
Fans also called out Daniel out after a concerning comment he made under a post by So Dramatic!, where he wrote “DANIEL V ABBIE 🥊 sign the contract!!”
One Instagram user wrote, “jokes about violence against women aren’t funny.” Another commenter wrote, “Did that make you feel good? 1800RESPECT – get some advice on how to not be you.”
Dom’s Response
After Dom was dragged by her ex cast mates in the comments, she went on to reply to Abbie’s comment writing, “love you xxxx.”
Despite the drama basically blowing up around her, Dom seems to be cozying up with the icons of The Bachelor universe, posing for a pic with Brooke Blurton at the beach.
Season 9 of MAFS is truly the gift that keeps on giving, especially if you’re a fan of messy reality TV beef.
