Take A Seat, Because We’ve Compiled The Wildest ‘MAFS’ Rumours
It goes without saying this season of Married at First Sight has been an absolute shitshow.
In previous seasons, most couples tried to play coy about upcoming storylines or wouldn’t elaborate on whether their relationships lasted. But this year’s cast has really gone above and beyond to leak rumours, spoil the storylines on the show, or defend themselves against rumours leaked about them (probably by other cast members).
It feels like it’s every day at this stage that another crazy rumour about MAFS makes headlines, so we’ve done a bit of a deep dive into the craziest ones so far.
Honestly makes you miss the days of Ines dragging Bronson for his eyebrow ring.
Here are the wildest rumours from this season of Married at First Sight:
1. Natasha hooked up with Mikey’s dad
We had to start the list with the most bonkers rumour that has come out of this season so far. Soon after the episode aired that had Mikey and Natasha reacquainting with their family and friends, rumours started circulating Natasha slept with Mikey’s… dad.
Where did the rumours come from? Stacey apparently told New Idea that it happened and it looks like things may come to light during the reunion dinner. Natasha has strongly denied the allegations and Mikey has said his father is contemplating legal proceedings before the episode is due to air.
2. Mikey slept with Stacey
For a couple that left on good terms, Mikey and Natasha have sure dragged each other through the mud since their departure on the show, and Mikey has also admitted to hooking up with Stacey when filming was happening.
Stacey has denied it and Natasha has sided with Stacey over her denial, while Mikey has said it’ll all come out by the end of the show. What an absolute mess.

3. Michael and KC had an affair
Boy oh boy. Stacey didn’t have the evidence the first time around, but it looks like it may be served to her real soon. Text messages have been leaked where KC and Stacey have an icy interaction over Michael inviting KC out for a drink.
Honestly, the hardest thing to believe out of ALL of this is Stacey claiming she saw KC as a friend.
Michael has also stated he is still seeing someone from the show, but he and Stacey don’t seem to have that many nice things to say about each other anymore. So is KC the (un)lucky woman? I’d say who knows, but I’m sure someone from the cast will let us all know soon.
4. Steve and Connie are dating

5. Tash had a girlfriend the whole time
Amanda and Tash showed promise at their wedding but they were basically all over by the end of their honeymoon. They left the show on seemingly civil terms, but Amanda then stated Tash actually had a girlfriend the whole time. “Tash applied for the show at the same time that she was in a serious relationship,” Amanda said in the interview. “And she applied for MAFS with the girl that she is now seeing.”
The other girl in question, Madison, did actually have a headshot pop up when the experts were “searching” for a match according to NW, so the plot thickens.
FWIW, Tash and Madison seem happy together now.
6. Chris and Hayley hooked up
Yikes.
It was shouted out when some of the cast had a few too many drinks on a night out back in January, but I think it’s safe to say if you watch the video, it kinda sounds like a joke when Josh says it.
Unless??
7. Chris and Vanessa were actually booted from the show after they had a chaotic fight
OK these two are MESSY, not that we had any idea earlier because we never got to see them on the show.
After they exited the experiment, Chris came out and said he and Vanessa were kicked off the show. He alleges that Vanessa told producers she wanted to paint him in a bad light, as well as threatening the network,
Vanessa released a video where she called Chris “gaslighting and manipulative” and said she never wanted to see him again.
Curious to see if any of this will be touched in the reunion episode…
8. Lizzie and Mishel are enemies
Mishel has come out calling Lizzie “fake” and said that she felt annoyed by the returning MAFS star, saying no one would want to endure the experience twice (minus, maybe John after he failed to turn into a Polynesian for Deb).
Lizzie spoke to news.com.au and told them she knew why Mishel didn’t like her, but that she wasn’t going to elaborate further. Spill the tea, sis!
9. Josh cheated on Cathy
This one is a little grey. Who reported recently that a MAFS fan commented on one of their Instagram posts about Michael and KC’s alleged affair with “There isn’t a man alive that doesn’t cheat. I am convinced.” Cathy then responded underneath it “I hear ya, sis.”
We can speculate all we want, but we also know Cathy HAS been cheated on in the past so maybe it’s just in reference to that…. maybe.
Anyway, I need to go have a nap and delete all my dating apps after going through all of that.
