Wild Footage Has Resurfaced Of Alyssa From ‘MAFS’ On ‘Judge Judy’
Alyssa Barmonde wasn’t everyone’s favourite on the 2023 season of Married at First Sight, but turns out it wasn’t her first run at reality TV, with her TikTok showing years-old footage of a time she appeared on US show Judge Judy.
Alyssa appeared on Judge Judy in 2010 after a housemate dispute involving a fire at the house that was blamed on Alyssa’s hookah. Alyssa uploaded the video back in 2021, but now that the contestants’ social media accounts are off private, more and more people have started watching it again.
In another old TikTok, Alyssa elaborated on what happened to land her on Judge Judy over a decade ago and what the process of being on the show is like.
‘They tried blaming my hookah [pipe],” she said about her housemates.
“It’s very advantageous because if I were to lose, the show pays whatever you’ve been sued for. Let’s say I was being sued for $2,000 and I lose – I pay nothing,” she explained. “I also got paid a small appearance fee, and I was put up in Hollywood for the night, which was awesome because I was 22.”
In the TikTok clips, Judge Judy is seen firmly putting Alyssa in her place, calling the MAFS star “annoying” while describing her as a “functional illiterate” after reading a text from the MAFS star that was presented as evidence.
It seems pretty savage, but given Alyssa’s run on MAFS we can now no doubt say that she’s been through worse.
Alyssa was happy to poke fun of herself in the Judge Judy TikToks, labelling one, “Remembering when I was on Judge Judy 11 years ago and she called me annoying.”

We wonder what Judge Judy would think of Alyssa’s commitment ceremony couch outbursts… now that’s a show I’d watch.
