It Looks Like MAFS’ Cheating Couple Are Still Actually Together

So far it’s been the most non-dramatic affair Married at First Sight has delivered us over the years, but it turns out intruders Carolina Santos and Daniel Holmes are still very much together, months after their secret rendezvous at the, uh, gym.

In case you need a refresher on where we’re currently at on Married At First Sight, here it is: earlier this week Daniel’s wife Jess left him, after voting ‘Leave’ at the commitment ceremony while Daniel opted to stay. This resulted in the couple moving in together for about 30 minutes before Jess called it and left for good. Daniel sadly packed away his YouFoodz meals but not before having Carolina over for a glass of wine in an attempt to flirt with her, telling her he’d be remaining in Sydney for a few more days if she wanted to catch up.

Carolina on the other hand, moved in with Dion but still wasn’t feeling the vibe. As we learned, it didn’t help that Dion doesn’t like the gym, eating breakfast, or rap/EDM, which seem to be Carolina’s only three interests. Daniel on the other hand, loves the gym and definitely looks like a guy who probably went to Stereosonic at some stage (this is unconfirmed).

Carolina and Daniel had a secret meetup where things got hot as the two… worked out together. Daniel proudly told Carolina that he had rented the gym out just for the two of them because that’s the kind of thing he “does as a husband”. Meanwhile, Dion was at home making Carolina a sad cheeseboard, pouring his heart out in a letter, and ordering flowers from their wedding day.

At the latest dinner party, things came to a head between Carolina and Dion with both of them arriving separately after an argument. Carolina was in the firing line with the group, blatantly expressing she had no attraction to Dion, while Dion was wondering if their relationship was still salvageable.

While we have no idea what’s coming for these two at Sunday’s commitment ceremony, we can only assume their marriage won’t last. Call us psychic or whatever.

As spotted by reality gossip page The Wash, Carolina and Daniel were seen together last Saturday as they went to Queensland to see his family.

While we’re yet to find out if these two re-enter the experiment as a couple, it looks like the experiment has worked in some capacity. Let’s just hope Daniel didn’t pack all his YouFoodz in his carry on.
