This season of Married at First Sight has been lacking eye candy, but our thirsty prayers have been answered with the latest addition to the cast. Meet intruder groom Chris Jensen, a 32-year-old FIFO driller from the Sunshine Coast.
According to his bio, the 6’2 hunk of a man seeks out adventure in his downtime. When he’s not working, you’ll find Chris scuba diving, snowboarding, and mountain climbing. But don’t write him off as some typical action man, Chris is a sensitive soul, who has been known to post heartfelt poems and other musings on his Instagram.

Chris is a true romantic and joined MAFS to find his special person.”I think I’m single because I haven’t found that person who reflects my own soul,” he told 9Entertainment. “We walk around this earth with half a soul — an incomplete soul — and there is someone out there for us. We’re looking for that person to complete us, and that’s what I honestly believe and that’s what I’m looking for… I’m a very romantic guy.” You don’t say? I am crying in the club right now.
He is clearly a big softie, which could something to do with the fact that Chris was raised in a household of women, with his mother and two sisters having a huge impact on him growing up. The MAFS intruder is all about treating women with respect and he lives for spending time with his two young daughters. “My relationship with my daughters, they are by far the most beautiful and wonderful children in this world, and I’m a very proud father and a very lucky man to have super intelligent and super sweet [kids] and they really light up my life.”

Chris is matched this season with 35-year-old Jaimie Gardner from Sydney, and says that he plans to make his wife feel special every day. He doesn’t have any huge reservations over who he is matched with, as long as they share his values. “I don’t have dealbreakers but I do want someone who matches me in my core morals,” Chris said.
