Claire Nomarhas has been praised for how she’s handling Married at First Sight’s pickiest groom ever, Jesse Burford.
In Claire’s bio, the 31-year-old kindergarten teacher said she went on the reality TV show with hopes of finding a “soulmate she can have kids and grow old with,” but unfortunately, it seems like that may not be happening with Jesse.
To give you a quick rundown, the experts paired her and Jesse in the second episode. Their wedding kicked off amazingly…until Claire asked Jesse what star sign he was (star sign chicks are an ick for Jesse FYI). She also gifted him a crystal, which is another trend that Jesse dislikes.
The troubles continued, as the couple fought after Jesse shushed Claire during their honeymoon. Things really blew up when they were tasked with answering questions from the honesty box: Jesse came clean about his icks, and then mocked the way Claire spoke after a question was raised that asked what traits they find annoying about each other.
Jesse’s impersonation of Claire caused her to tell him, “You’re not my person,” before leaving the honeymoon alone.
After their tumultuous honeymoon, Claire attempted to fix things with Jesse, but things got worse when Jesse told Claire that he ‘doesn’t chase girls’ when she asked why he didn’t check on her after their feud. The pair ended up going to the first dinner party of the season separately.
However, things seem to be looking up for the pair after Jesse opened up about his insecurities during Confessions Week. Could this be a breakthrough for the couple? We hope so.
