Ooh boy. If you thought Married at First Sight was starting to hit its season lull, think again! Last night’s commitment ceremony kicked off the official feud between Oliva and Domenica and we’re on the edge of our seats waiting for this week’s retreat episodes.

But first, let’s rehash the fourth commitment ceremony, where somehow we said goodbye to no one.

Yes, that’s right. Not even Matt and Kate. Not even Ella and Mitch. NOT EVEN CAROLINA AND DION?!

The experts were faced with a new decision this week when Carolina, lover of rap music, breakfast, and the gym, opted to leave the experiment. After their time on the couch together Dion, who had initially written stay, also decided he wanted to leave the experiment. Because he had already written stay on his card, the experts were faced with a decision: do they set the couple, who are clearly incompatible, free, or do they force them to stay and work on their, uh, relationship?

Of course, because we haven’t seen Carolina’s half-assed affair with Daniel exposed yet, you can bet that she and Dion were forced to stay for another week.

Tensions continued to rise at the commitment ceremony after Carolina stormed out when Dom called her out for being a bully. For some reason, Olivia decided to get involved and then called Dom out for being a bully, saying that Dom always needs to pick on someone.

Are you keeping up? Because it looks like things with Olivia and Dom are only set to get worse…

Here’s last night’s Married at First Sight commitment ceremony recapped via the best tweets.

Kate is pulled up by John for not trying enough to develop a connection with Matt. She opts to leave, but Matt says Kate is worth fighting for.

Mitch and Ella are in a much better place, with Mitch even taking a grilling from the experts relatively well. John says anyone using the experiment as a reason for their relationship issues is just making excuses.

Cody and Selina admit to “like like-ing” each other and Cody now even looks at Selina which is… something.

Samantha opts to leave the experiment after breaking down saying she’s been stifling her own personality and ambition, leaving Al completely bewildered.

Carolina and Dion face their time with the experts, and Alessandra puts Carolina in her place after she tries to blame her behaviour on being Latina. John also pulls out a notepad to serve Carolina receipts on her bad behaviour.

Carolina and Dion are forced to stay another week, and Carolina storms out after Dom has a go at her. In turn, Olivia calls out Dom and things are TENSE.

Married at First Sight continues tonight on Channel 9 and 9now at 7:30pm.
