It’s that time of year when we all blackout Sunday to Wednesday on our calendars, and hand our souls over to Channel Nine for the foreseeable future. Married at First Sight is almost here!

The new season kicked off on 31 January and if the promos are anything to go by, it looks like the messiest season ever — and that’s saying something for this absolute shitshow. In the latest trailer, expert John Aiken can even be heard saying, “I’ve never seen anything like this before.”

We spoke to experts John, Mel Schilling, and Alessandra Rampolla about what’s to come and they promised the most explosive season yet. “Fans should expect a lot of conflict,” John said. “There are rivalries that are in this year’s experiment that we’ve never seen before. There are cliques that break out that create all sorts of fractions within the group. Boundaries are crossed.

“Dirty laundry is aired. There are massive moments, at least two huge events that take place this year that we haven’t seen before. The cast is very triggering. You’re not going to be able to watch it and stay neutral. You’re going to have a lot to say about it. And you’re going to be very invested because this year’s cast is extremely… unique in how in your face they get.”

We’re are simultaneously excited and very afraid! Our bodies are ready!

There’s nothing left to do but stalk every contestant on Instagram! Lucky for y’all, we’ve tracked down all the brides’ and grooms’ Instagram accounts.
