If you’re a Married at First Sight fan, now is the time to pick your alliance — Team Dom or Team Olivia — because it looks like these two brides are headed for war.

Domenica Calarco and Olivia Frazer have been two of the most opinionated contestants this season. With the amount of times Dom interrupts commitment ceremonies, she practically considers herself the fourth expert, and Olivia was extremely vocal in her support of Andrew Davis and disdain for Holly Greenstein.

While Dom has largely won over viewers with say-it-how-it-is approach to couple’s counselling, the same can’t be said for Olivia. A lot of MAFS fans on Twitter have grown frustrated with how smug Olivia can come across, along with her TV hubby Jackson Lonie, who both often offer unsolicited advice like they’ve been married for years, and not mere weeks, like the rest of the experiment’s participants.

The tide is quickly turning on how people view Olivia on the show and one person who apparently wasn’t a huge fan was Dom. In an interview on Cliffo and Gabi, Dom confirmed that herself and Olivia fought throughout filming and their feud kicks off soon. “By the end of this week at the commitment ceremony, you will start to see a little bit of heat between us,” she said. “We start having words and there is something that starts rumbling.”

Hosts Cliffo and Gabi then joked about how Olivia and Jackson act superior to the other couples and Dom agreed. “I’m glad you guys are not buying it… the smug married [couple],” replied Dom.

Dom went on to say that what viewers are being shown of Olivia is not telling the whole story: she claims Olivia has previously been engaged, despite saying in the series she had never been in a relationship more serious than a fling. “Let’s just remember that she came to the hens and actually said that on her second date she got engaged — and that didn’t go to air,” Dom claimed.

The Italian bride added that she wished this was shown as it might have explained why Olivia fell so hard for Jackson. “I feel like people need to know that because it’s something I’ve never forgotten, and it definitely says a lot about how her and Jackson are acting.”

Dom went on to address a rumour that she had “glassed” another contestant at a dinner party. “It’s absolutely ridiculous… the tabloids will write anything,” she hit back.

“I have not and never will glass anyone,” Dom confirmed. Nice!
