Everything We Know About ‘MAFS’ Dreamboat Duncan
NGL, when Duncan James appeared on the cast list for Married At First Sight, I had two thoughts.
The first one was he seems like a player, and the second one was he’s giving himbo energy but boy, oh boy, I was wrong. Duncan is an absolute dreamboat!
The 36-year-old Northern Beaches resident is basically the embodiment of Prince Charming.
On Monday night’s episode, Duncan appeared to be one of the stereotypical blokes of the pack. His good looks were even noticed by fellow groom – and chaotic mess – Jesse, who complimented Duncan on his chiselled jaw.
But it was Thursday’s episode where we finally got to properly meet Duncan, as he wed 35-year-old Alyssa Barmonde, and it seemed like the pair really hit it off!
So who is this Prince Charming? Here’s everything we know about Duncan from Married at First Sight:
One of the main things we see Duncan do in his intro package is ride his motorbike. It looked like he was going to ride into his wedding on his bike, but luckily for Alyssa’s dress’s sake, he didn’t.
Anyways, the man loves his motorbike – he even has a pic with it on his Instagram.

According to Instagram, it looks like Duncan is super close to his family. In his official MAFS bio, Duncan talks about how his parents and sisters have impacted the way he looks at relationship and women.
“Duncan’s parents have been married for 44 years, the kind of relationship success he aspires to. Growing up in a close family unit on the Northern Beaches of Sydney with two older sisters means Duncan understands and appreciates women on a deeper level, which has helped his past relationships,” the bio reads.

As if we couldn’t stan this man any more, Duncan is also a vocal LGBTQ+ ally, as seen in an Instagram post from 2017 during the marriage equality plebiscite, where he posted a photo of a crowd holding ‘Vote Yes’ signs.
He captioned the pic, “To my beautiful sister and her partner, enjoy this historic day.”

Duncan has become one of the wholesome grooms so far, and its fingers crossed that he continues to be… but with this show, who knows what will happen. I’m already tired of all the Harrisons and Jesses.
