‘MAFS’ Intimacy Week: Part Two, Recapped Via The Best Tweets

We’re back for more intimacy week on Married at First Sight, and who doesn’t love to watch couples we don’t know IRL look into each other’s eyes, kiss for an extended period of time, and wax each other’s bums?

Three weeks into MAFS, some couples appear to be doing stronger than ever (you’re doing amazing Olivia and Jackson), while others are on the brink of total meltdowns (Tamara, Brent, what the HELL is going on?!).

The one thing about this show is you can never predict what’s coming next: after Anthony and Selin shocked us all by opting to stay at the first commitment ceremony even though they hated each other’s guts, the two seem back on track this week with Anthony even moving in with Selin.

Two people definitely not moving back in together are Andrew and Holly, who attempted the intimacy week tasks with little success: Holly finally called it with Andrew and he responded by calling her a narcissist. Make it make sense.

Here’s last night’s Married At First Sight recapped via the best tweets:

Cody and Selina are actually doing well?! After (barely) surviving the kissing challenge, Cody opens up to his wife in a heartfelt letter, detailing why he has trouble with showing emotion. She later removes the hair from his bum crack.

Tamara and Brent make up, and are given the “melted hug” challenge. Apparently hugging someone for an extended period of time makes Tamara feel sick. Yet, she perseveres.

Jack told Dom he slept with his ex after they broke up. Dom doesn’t know what to think of it. They sort out their issues with an intimate pole dancing class.

Things are starting to go south for Ella and Mitch after Mitch flat out refuses to participate in most of the intimacy week challenges.

Selin and Anthony get back on track by… gazing into each other’s eyes. Selin then gives Anthony a spray tan. Whatever works, I guess.

And things come to a head with Holly and Andrew, after Holly ends things with him only for him to carry on about being a “leader” before calling Holly a narcissist. Holly sages her house to ward off his demon energy.

Married at First Sight returns tonight at 7:30pm on Channel Nine and 9now.
