It’s over! Married at First Sight is ov- well, not quite. The final vows are finally over which means we don’t have to keep sitting here and rehashing some of the terrible love stories this season delivered us.

After Sunday night’s episode saw Melinda and Layton recommit, while Duncan walked away from Alyssa, the success rate of last night’s final vows was similar. We had one couple walk away happily ever after, one mutual dumping, and one mic drop moment reminiscent of Brent leaving Tamara.

With a reunion dinner party looming as well as a reunion with the experts, the drama is far from over. But, first let’s dive into what the hell went down during the final vows last night.

Here’s last night’s Married at First Sight final vows recapped via the best tweets.

As the couples say goodbye, Tahnee and Ollie were adorable as per usual, Cam and Lyndall were rocky after the dinner party, and Evelyn and Rupert didn’t even appear to be on speaking terms.

Evelyn calmly dumps Rupert in final vows, and Rupert reads his letter as awkwardly as their wedding day vows. He then tells Evelyn he didn’t think she put her best foot forward to progress their relationship. Whatever helps you sleep at night, Rooopert.

Tahnee and Ollie tried to fool us into thinking the decision was hard for them because of the long distance but we all knew the two lovebirds would stay together. However, we didn’t predict they’d make us so emotional during final vows.

Finally, it was Cam and Lyndall’s time to shine. Cam admits to his friend he doesn’t have feelings for Lyndall and even his friend thinks he’s a bit of a dickhead. Cam tells producers that about 10 minutes went into his decision making and that he doesn’t miss Lyndall.

Lyndall calls Cam TF out in her vows, telling him that he clearly doesn’t want a partner at all. “To put it plainly, stay in your lane and I’ll stay in mine,” Lyndall tells Cam, repeating a line he once apparently said to her. “Well said,” Cam replied.

Then before Cam can start his vows, Lyndall says no matter what he says, it’s only going to disappoint her again. Cam throws down his vow cards at her feet and walks off, in a big tanty throwing moment. Goodbye and good riddance!

Married at First Sight returns Sunday night at 7pm on Channel Nine.
