This Is Why Harrison And Bronte Were Cut From The ‘MAFS’ Reunion
If you sat down with a bowl of popcorn and a glass of wine last night ready to see Harrison Boon get one final roasting from the Married at First Sight experts, you weren’t alone. But as it turns out, Harrison and his ex “wife” Bronte Schofield got zero screen time despite being such a huge part of Season 10.
As the experts went through many of the couples who suffered through this season, there were some notable exclusions that didn’t make it to air, like Harrison and Bronte, Shannon and Caitlin, Rupert and Evelyn, and Josh and Melissa.
Harrison and Bronte’s rollercoaster of a relationship was a dominating storyline throughout Season 10 of MAFS: from their wedding day, the couple were embroiled in drama with Bronte finding out Harrison was seeing a girl on the outside right before the experiment started.
As the weeks went on, the couple went from seemingly hating each other to “falling” for one another, though fans of the show weren’t entirely convinced that it was a genuine connection.
After more ups and downs during the couples retreat, the partner swap, and dinner parties, their relationship ended when Bronte dumped Harrison at the final dinner party after homestay visits, where Bronte’s sister called Harrison out for being a gaslighter.
At the reunion dinner party, Harrison came armed with receipts to call out Bronte for contacting the girl he was dating prior to entering the experiment. However, the whole attempt to call Bronte out failed miserably, with the group laughing at Harrison for going to drastic lengths to expose Bronte when she hadn’t… really done anything.
It really was a stellar TV moment.
So with fans still expecting one more night of the Harrison and Bronte show on our screens during the MAFS finale, many were shocked (but not upset) when the two weren’t shown sitting down with the experts.

Harrison being edited out of the finale is a blessing and a curse: less toxic, more boring. #MAFSAU #MAFS

I’m not upset we’re not seeing Harrison and Bronte. They drained any excitement from me weeks ago. #mafs #mafsau

Harrison not getting couch time after monopolising the entire season is so funny his last proper scene will forever be everybody laughing at him and turning his print out into a paper plane #MAFSAU #MAFS

A source has now revealed to Yahoo! Lifestyle that the pair were cut as the dinner party was the “perfect end to their storyline”.
“Harrison and Bronte’s relationship dominated the season, with every aspect discussed in-depth every week. The only fresh revelation was Harrison’s screenshots of Bronte talking to his ex — but the way that played out at the dinner party, with everyone mocking him, was so organic and hilarious that it was the perfect end to their storyline,” the source told Yahoo! Lifestyle.
“Producers wanted to try and give the season a somewhat happy ending, which is why they cut Harrison and Bronte’s time on the sofa and left on a cliffhanger with Jesse and Claire potentially reuniting instead.”
Jesse Burford commented in a MAFS Facebook group that he has “no idea” why Harrison and Bronte weren’t shown, and alluded to Shannon and Caitlin’s time on the couch being “brutal”. He also claimed that Janelle and Adam, Rupert and Evelyn, and Tayla and Hugo weren’t filmed on the couch during the final reunion with the experts.
Somehow, knowing this show, we doubt this is the last we’ve heard from any of the cast – especially Harrison.
But for now, let’s just remember this moment when Harrison thought he was really doing something:
Iconic.
