Lizzie Has Set The Record Straight Over That Bizarre Rumour She’s Getting Hitched Again On ‘MAFS’

The dust has barely even settled over Married at First Sight stars Elizabeth Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus calling it quits after dating for a year, but already a ridiculous rumour is circulating that Lizzie will be getting hitched again on this year’s season.

Firstly, how? Secondly, why?? It simply makes zero sense, but Daily Mail’s report earlier this week claimed that Lizzie would be returning to the reality show, writing “rumours are now swirling that Elizabeth Sobinoff, 29, is preparing to appear in Married At First Sight for a third time as she continues her search for Mr Right.” The news site claimed that because Lizzie has close ties with production, she could easily be added to the 2021 cast at last minute.

Unsurprisingly, this “news” was met by outrage from the public. But for anyone who works in, or writes about reality TV, this rumour just isn’t plausible. As we’ve seen from the season’s promos, the weddings have already been filmed. Unless, this whole breakup was staged and Lizzie has already filmed her wedding (which would be rather controversial!), it’s just not going to happen.
